Vacation rentals in Guájar-Fondón

Just got back from a 10 night stay at this fabulous villa. Very well equipped for self- catering. Air conditioning and wifi access very good. Views of the mountains at the front of the property and views of the sea from the back. Large private garden area. Within a 5 min walk of two large pools. Also close to Cave Bar and restaurant. The beach and Nerja town are a 20 min walk downhill and a 30 min walk back up the hill. However there is a very reliable bus service every hour for 1 euro each way. There are also two large supermarkets within a 10 min walk. Mercadona was our favourite. Debby was very responsive to my messages. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely visit again x

We had a fabulous stay in Nerja. The home was an exceptionally high standard, it had absolutely everything we needed, was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Communication was excellent and the host took extra care and attention following a huge storm in the area. The property was of a very high standard with lovely furniture and great attention to detail, well stocked kitchen and lots of space for a family of 9. We would absolutely visit again.

Eine moderne, gepflegte, bestens ausgestattete Wohnung mit gut durchdachten Details hat uns sehr viel Komfort geboten. Die Aufteilung der Schlafzimmer mit separaten Bädern ist optimal für eine Familie oder Freunde. Die Geräte wie Waschmaschine, Trockner, Herd, Kühlschrank sind alle ganz neu und optimal, wenn man sich als Sportler oder mit Kindern gut organisieren muss. Der Sportraum in der Anlage war für uns perfekt, der gemütliche Wohnbereich sehr schön für Spiele- und Filmabende, die Terrasse super für Grillabende und mit Hund war der Standort für uns ideal, da direkt am eingezäunten Hunde-Trainingsplatz, fußläufig zum Strand & auf die Wanderrouten. Auch der Garagenstellplatz war für uns ein toller Vorteil. Silvana hat uns persönlich herzlich empfangen und bestens in die gesamte Anlage eingewiesen, danke Dir sehr! Wir freuen uns schon, im nächsten Sommer wiederzukommen.

I absolutely loved my stay at Patricia’s place! The house was beautiful, spotless, and had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The view of the mountains was absolutely breathtaking—such a treat to wake up to each day. The location was perfect: peaceful and quiet at night, yet still close to everything I needed. I truly enjoyed every moment of my stay and would 100% stay here again if I return to the area. Thank you so much, for a wonderful experience—highly recommended!

Had a fantastic weekend stay! The place was great for our group of friends. It was spacious comfortable, as well as clean as per the photos. The Host was incrediblyy responsive and helpful, ansering all out questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this spot for groups.

Wij verbleven de gehele maand januari in het prachtige ruime huis, voorzien van alle gemakken en voldeed prima voor ons. Gekozen voor januari omdat het dan nog niet zo warm is in Spanje en gekozen voor de ligging in de bergen vanwege de rust en de natuur. Het huis ligt net buiten het dorpje Periana met een schitterend vrij uitzicht richting het stuwmeer en in de verte de zee. Hebben prachtige bergwandelingen gemaakt direct in de omgeving of met de auto kleine dorpjes bezocht of heerlijke strandwandelingen gemaakt aan de kust in Torre del Mar dat vanuit Periana in een halfuurtje te bereiken is. Achter het huis bevond zich een ruime tuin met strandstoelen en barbecue en was afsluitbaar zodat ons kleine hondje niet weg kon lopen en heerlijk kon spelen, op het bordes aan de voorkant kon je ook heerlijk zitten en genieten van het zonnetje. Het huis was brandschoon maar vanwege de wintermaanden wel fris, dus de houtkachel of elektrische moest wel aan. Andrés was een prima gastheer voor ons.

Eirin has created a beautiful and peaceful home in the mountains. This is an outstanding place to stay. The views are incredible. The house has been so well thought out with stylish design and attention to detail. I would highly recommend a stay here. Eirin is delightful and Rosie, who let us in, is so helpful. The proximity to Granada and the Palace is great. We had no problem driving and parking right by the palace and walking into central Granada and the palace. We didn’t want to leave!

We had a wonderful month long stay at Lorie’s beautiful villa. It was well equipped for all our cooking and hosting needs. Spacious and comfortable for a group of 8. We enjoyed walking down the hill to the beach (20 min) and taking day trips to nearby Nerja, Granada, Malaga, Solabrena, and further to Seville and Ronda. Watching the sunrise over the hills and sea from the front patio with the stunning view will be etched in our memories of this happy time in La Herradura. The village itself is quiet and less touristy than others but with plenty of restaurants and activities for the family. Lorie was quick to respond to all our requests and a gracious host.
