Quinta Abadia was absolutely gorgeous! Carlos was a king, friendly gentleman who aims to please his guest. The place was spotless in every way. It is apparent that Carlos has an affection for this place as everything was well thought out and his hospitality was spot on. Our only regret was having to leave the place. Laurence and Jorge’s home provided a peaceful and beautiful escape in the Douro valley! The surrounding village is small and quaint with lovely views around every corner. The roads are winding, skinny and steep - no different from any other small town or city in Portugal. The home was impeccably clean, the Murphy bed surprisingly comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. A fantastic spot!

A wonderful stay! The accommodation is extremely clean, comfortable and situated in a very calm area, perfect for resting. The service was impeccable, with friendly host and always available. The decor is cozy. Undoubtedly a place to go back and recommend!

A repeat experience! I was previously contacted if we learned the time of entry to the house and when we arrived home there was a super cozy temperature in every division. Linda made a point of leaving a basket of products from the area that were wonderful. The super-equipped kitchen, like everything needed for a stay and family and friends. The whole dwelling was well taken care of, clean and with various details that made us feel at home.

We stayed overnight with our two dogs and it had everything we needed for our stay. Clear instructions on how to access the accomodation and we could park right in front which was very handy. Comfy beds, all rooms were en-suite and everything you need to cook in the kitchen. Thank you

It was great staying in Carmo's home, she was always very kind and communicative. The house is great, and the outdoor area is very large and quiet. The clean rooms, the comfortable beds and the chimney in the living room is very nice for the cold days. Wishing to return one day!

Great stay! The location of this accommodation is ideal, close to everything: restaurants, shops, public transport and main attractions. It was a real pleasure to be able to do anything on foot! It was 4 wonderful nights in this space as well. The whole experience, from before the booking, to the check-out was simple and with absolutely nothing to point out. From Mr. António, who from the first minute proved super available to answer questions and help in everything, to Isabel, who takes care of the house with extreme care, and who was an authentic sympathy. We were 4 adults and a little bigudo, and we had a great days of rest and peace, in a home and outdoor space extremely well cared for and with all amenities. We want to go back, no doubt!

Casa da Celeste is a beautiful hideaway where you can relax and listen to the sounds of the birds chirping and feel the sun on your face. The house is lovely, but what stands out are the hosts, Aida and Rui. They both went above and beyond to make us feel at home and help us settle in. This home may be in the countryside, but it's located in a great spot to travel to Porto, Aviero. Guarda and Coimbra. You can visit many beautiful cities with an easy day trip. I highly recommend staying here!

Simply amazing stay. The super quiet place, good to escape the rush of the city. The house is extremely clean and corresponds to 100% as the photos. The kitchen is super complete. Mr. Rui was an impeccable host. I've honestly never been in a place so good and complete. Let's no doubt repeat in the summer.

The place of Quinta do Soito is incredibly beautiful. Exactly as in the photos of the listing, I believe that even more beautiful. The house is fully equipped and very spacious, it accommodates a large family well. Mrs. Maria is kind and responds very quickly, all the times I needed her it was very quick to respond. I highly recommend the site, everything went very well.

The house in Teixoso was super pleasent. Located in a rural area within a small farm very easy access, even though the road that goes to the farm is not paved. Information from the host was clear and check-in instructions made it easy to get there.... I recommend the place for futures guests.

House is very cozy and has a plenty of private space outside making it a perfect stay with dog. It is very easy to find the house and it has some restaurants around as well as a direct road to touristic sightseeing points. House is very cozy, it has a central heating and fireplace and beds are very comfortable.

All spotless as described. Host has always been responsive and at the time of check-in very kind, and considerate. Super comfortable and a good place to live with a barbecue area. Closed area to store motorcycles safely. Countryside, very calm

Maria’s home is beautiful! Extremely well appointed, clean and comfortable. The pool area with shower & toilet nearby is well planned. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ several evenings during our stay.
