This cozy wood and stone cabin is located at the top of a mountain in a small Mayan village. The cabin overlooks the mountains and is surrounded by nature and tranquility. We are a 30-minute drive from the village of Lanquin (partially on a bumpy dirt road in very poor condition) and then a 200-meter walk on a rocky and sometimes muddy and slippery mountain path! Villa Eggedal is situated on the North shore of Lake Atitlan in the peaceful village of Santa Cruz. The views are amazing but it does involve walking up numerous steps. If you are arriving after dark, please make sure to bring a torch with you. Only arrive by boat and not by car.
