We had a wonderful stay! Had everything we were looking for -- waterfront location and set up well for children. The location and windows looking out onto the bay, islands, Straight of Georgia and across to Mt. Baker were what we loved most. Saw a lot of wildlife. Steps down to the water were nice too. House was otherwise set up well and as described. Highly recommend this location.

My family and I had a great experience here! Eileen and Glenn were excellent hosts. The suite is a great layout, plenty of amenities and the hot tub was the cherry on top. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in April for our 4 year anniversary. We found the location extremely beautiful and the cob house is unique in its design and decoration; we had a lot of fun staying here. We had the opportunity to feed the hosts’ sheep which was a highlight for us, as well as watching their dog Angus keep an eye on the sheep! The place is very private both from the hosts’ space as well as other neighbours. The location is close to the grocery store and beautiful beaches (though everything on Mayne is close to each other). The cob house is definitely rustic and you will likely encounter some spider or ant friends, whether that be inside the house or while venturing outside to the toilet or shower. Be prepared for insanely yummy fresh bread and jam upon arrival! Overall, we found our stay here to be extremely relaxing, and a nice disconnect from the busy atmosphere of the city.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The space had warm, cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The quiet surroundings made it a perfect retreat, and the host’s hospitality was exceptional. Communication was easy with Karen. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway with expectational view. I would definitely return in the future!
