Come enjoy a 900 sq. ft. apartment with a queen memory foam bed in the bedroom, a queen memory foam bed and a futon in the living room. A complete kitchen is included. We are just across the Copper River from the Wrangell/St. Elias National Park. The Copper River is within walking distance. Both the Gulkana and the Klutina Rivers are about 15 miles away. Great location for skiing/hiking Thompson pass or cross country skiing/hiking trails around the property. Handmade log furniture and Alaska themed books and treasures we have collected throughout the years are in the tiny home for your enjoyment. We are dog friendly and have a German shepherd mix.

Gulkana River Cabin - Located Close

Nicely furnished rustic cabin nestled among large spruce trees. Located approximately 3/4 mile from the Gulkana River(12 miles north of Glennallen). Cabin is also located just 8 miles from Gakona/Copper River. Beautiful views of the magnificent Wrangell Mountains abound in the area. Guests arriving before May 1 must bring water, some firewood and access may be difficult due to snow and a sled may be required for part of the 1/3 mile distance from the highway before May 1st.

Close to the road, yet out of sight in it's own quiet wood, it is also ideally located 2 minutes away from a convenience store/gas station/laundromat. This is a perfect location for a several day home base to explore the Copper Basin, Wrangell St. Elias National Park and Valdez. With a fully equipped kitchen, a kid corner and good reads, you will feel right at home.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located studio cabin. Half-way between Anchorage and Valdez. Near Wrangell St Elias park and world class fishing. A dry cabin with drinking water provided and an outhouse on the site. Please note there is no electricity. There is a fine for smoking/vaping in cabin. Mosquitoes are out of my control. There is a 3 gallon jug of drinking water and a propane tank for the BBQ provided.
