“Just spent a lovely weekend at Chris' place. Property is quirky, and the décor is something akin to staying at my grandmothers, however I'm being pedantic. Chris and his wife was the perfect host and we had a lovely time. The décor is offset by the hot tub in the summer house which was great, Chris even got the fire going for us so that when we went to use the hot tub the summer house was nice and toasty. The location is ideal for getting in to Cardiff city centre and close to St Fagan's museum and overall was a lovely relaxing stay. Highly recommended!”

“Nick's response to my initial request was very prompt, which took a weight off my mind as I was booking last minute. Check in time was very flexible which was also a bonus as I didn't know for sure what time I would arrive. Communication was great. I was made very welcome when I arrived by Nick and the two wee dogs, Max and Lucy. Nick's home is warm, cosy and welcoming. I was too tired to socialise much after my long journey, but Nick made me a very welcome cup of tea and welcomed me into his sitting room for a sit down and we chatted. I found him to be open and friendly, interested in people, well travelled and good to talk to. I felt at home and comfortable in his company. The bedroom was very comfortable and warm. A little bit of noise from the road when window was open, but I found this comforting, not excessive. The bathroom was well equipped with bath and shower over bath, clean towels provided. I chose to skip breakfast as I had a big meal the night before, so couldn't comment on breakfast. For the location and facilities provided, the price is very competitive, I couldn't ask for more.”
A small but clean and comfy room in a very relaxed mum and daughter household. We share our space with 2 cats and a gorgeous little dog, and you are welcome to bring your pet with you if they can play nice with the other furry residents. The room has a TV/DVD, and there is access to Netflix and cable TV in the living room. You are welcome to use the living room and kitchen during your stay, and can help yourself to tea and coffee.
“This is a really comfortable, cosy place in a great location. Sarah communicated quickly and was friendly - we had a great chat - but she also left me alone which I appreciated. A dvd player in the room with a selection of films was a nice touch.”
