The Hideaway

A clean, comfortable, air-conditioned, motel-style room on the ground level of our 2 storey house. This room consists of your own private patio and entrance, a large bedroom with a queen bed, complimentary tea & coffee, a small fridge, a lounge, TV and a large ensuite. There are no shared spaces and no cooking facilities Surrounded by lovely, tropical gardens, this accommodation is perfect for a quick getaway, in beautiful Rainbow Beach, or as a stopover on your way to Fraser Island.

Take a break from your busy city life and come and enjoy the country. This cabin is located on the edge of the Eumundi Conservation Park, a place where you can enjoy a bush walk or a lazy bike ride. This eco friendly cabin is fully off the grid with solar power, tank water and even a septic tank. Our property is a horse agistment property with 3 goats and a miniature pony called Jerry. We are only 15min to Coolum Beach, 10min to Yandina and 25min to Noosa, accommodating 2 cabins.

Welcome to The Orchid Room. Room is totally separate to the house. Enjoy the tranquillity of rural life. Max.4 Adults, King bed, pull out sofa or king single beds. Reverse cycle Air Con. Wander around the landscaped 6,000Sq Mtr property. We are just mins from the Gympie CBD, the Bruce Hway & approx 40mins to the beaches of Noosa. NB. Unfenced dam, please supervise children. For late bookings there is a key safe. STRICTLY No pets, for guests with allergies and we have wildlife.

As you enter through the underpass onto the farm your little cabin is nestled on the grassy hillside overlooking the dam, mountains and train line. As they have done for the past 130 years the trains toot to herald their arrival to town. You have now entered your own little piece of paradise to relax and enjoy. A short stroll to town along a quiet, shady road will bring you to the village of Cooran with a coffee shop, general store, restaurant & brewery.

Ideal for one or two couples but not really suitable for children. While here enjoy the rural views, read, chat, bird-watch, relax around the fire-pit, and generally feel the serenity.
