The suite is ideal for couples and families. The king bed is separated from the living area by a partial privacy wall, creating a cozy, open layout. We know you - and your kids of all ages - will love your stay with us!

The space
Welcome to our hobby farm in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC - at the base of the Rocky Mountains!

The suite is a carriage-home style loft above the garage. You'll have your own private entrance and convenient parking.

The suite itself is a studio layout and will easily accommodate a couple or a small family. It includes a king-size bed as well as a pull-out sofa bed and a separate toddler bed! You'll also have your own kitchen and bathroom.

Also, we're EV friendly, with an EV-RV/NEMA 14-50 outlet located at the parking spot for our Airbnb guests. (Note: we provide the outlet only... no charging cables or other equipment)

During your stay you'll have access to almost all of the 5+ acre property, including our alpacas, chickens, and (coming soon!) our babydoll sheep. There is also a wonderful outdoor bar, barbecue area, and other outdoor activities for you to enjoy. We also have a 45x70 skating rink for your enjoyment during the winter months. (Weather permitting). And we'll soon have an outdoor sauna for you to enjoy!

If you're looking for a place for a loud party this is NOT the right fit. We are located in a quiet rural area and we live year-round in the main home on the property. Our ideal guests are couples and young families. Your toddlers and older children will love their time here!

It's also important for you to note that we're rural. Access to our property is via a short gravel road, and there are no paved pathways at the property. The suite is above the garage, accessed via a set of stairs, and is therefore not considered 'accessible'.

You must also be comfortable with large (friendly!) dogs. We have two, including one who lives full-time in the pasture with the alpacas year-round. If any of this isn't to your liking you'll want to book elsewhere. There are several other Airbnb's nearby and we'd be happy to recommend one to you.

From your suite you'll have a 180-degree view of the Rocky Mountains, as well as a nice view of the Purcell Mountains. And we love introducing our guests to our alpacas, chickens and other four-legged friends.

You'll have access to our entire property including the alpacas, chickens, babydoll sheep (coming soon!), hot tub,fire pit, outdoor bar, gardens, skating rink, chipping green, massive sandbox, and more! We'll also soon have an outdoor barrel sauna for you to enjoy.

Other things to note
* RULES FOR PET OWNERS *

Well-behaved pets and responsible pet owners are welcome, with a few simple requests:

• Please be sure you have included your pet in your Airbnb reservation. Pets require some extra cleaning on our part for the comfort of the next guests. As a result, there is an additional cleaning fee that won't be included by Airbnb if you don't include the pet in your reservation
• Pets must be on leash and under control at all times
• Dogs may be walked on the property near the sandbox/rink area or down the driveway towards the road
• Pets are never permitted near the garden or pastures - even while on leash. Unfamiliar dogs in those areas cause stress for our LGD, who is protecting his animal friends.

* OTHER INFORMATION *

• Your trip to our home will include a short drive along a gravel road. This shouldn't be an issue for most guests, but you may want to leave the Ferrari at home.

• EV? No problem! We have an EV-RV/NEMA 14-50 plug available for you at the Airbnb parking spot.

• If you're traveling with a boat or an RV we have plenty of parking available for you, as well as a full 50A RV hookup with water and septic if required.

Rural acreage just minutes from Columbia Lake, Fairmont Hot Springs, and Canal Flats. You'll love the stunning Rocky Mountain views, but if you're looking for lots of cool stuff to do within walking distance then please keep looking! We're rural!

Tons of parking for your boat, RV, or other toys. We even have a full RV hookup (30A/50A, fresh water, sewer) that you may be able to use during your stay.

Our street is a short unpaved gravel road, so if you'll be driving your Lamborghini be prepared to test it's off-road capabilities.
