The space
Many of the furnishings in the home carry a personal touch. The dining table and bench, coffee and end tables, bedside tables in the upstairs bedrooms, as well as the fire table and fire pit, were all crafted by myself with the help of friends and family.
Outdoors, we’re creating your very own private Nordic-inspired spa experience. For now, you’ll find a cedar barrel sauna just steps from the basement’s steam shower, along with both a fire table and a backyard firepit for cozy evenings. The backyard landscaping is still in progress, but we’d love your feedback on which amenities you enjoy most and how you’d picture using the space.

House Rules & Etiquette
Care for the Home
Use hot plates for cooking and baking and heat pads for hair appliances. Heat damages countertops.
Wipe up coffee, wine, lemon, soda, and other staining/acidic foods immediately to protect quartz countertops. Warm water and mild soap are recommended. Simple Green spray is under the kitchen sink.
A tablecloth is provided for the dining table (bottom drawer of the coffee bar).
Report any damage or issues promptly.

Weekdays: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekends/holidays: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Please keep outdoor noise low.
Smoking & Substances
No smoking or vaping indoors or on decks.
Outdoor smoking: at least 25 feet (8 meters) from doors/windows; dispose of butts responsibly.
No illegal drugs.
No Pets
No pets of any kind. Thank you for helping us keep the home comfortable for all guests.
Garbage & Wildlife Safety
Use on-site bin; latch securely to prevent litter if the bin blows over and attracting wildlife.
Wednesday guests: place bin in alley at/after 6:00 AM. Food must not be placed in bin until check out or on the morning of Wednesday
Recycling must be packed out (nearest depot: Crowsnest Sports Complex, 8702–22 Ave, Coleman)
Events & Gatherings
No parties.
Small, respectful gatherings for weddings, retreats, or work-related stays are welcome.
Must follow guest limits, quiet hours, and community expectations
Commercial Guests
Work, filming, or content creation requires prior approval

Agreement
By booking, guests confirm they have read and agree to all house rules.
Please note that additional charges may be incurred in the following situations:
• Damage to furniture, walls, appliances, or any part of the home
• Smoking or vaping inside the house or near open windows and doors
• Broken or missing items including linens, dishes, décor, supplies
• Excessive cleaning required beyond normal use, billed at $35/hour
• Other reasonable charges for rules broken
