The spacious bedrooms are spread out over two floors, each with its own unique decor, so guests can have their own private space to relax in. There are 5 bedrooms, with a variety of bed sizes, so it can comfortably accommodate a large family or a group of friends. Enjoy a cup of fresh coffee on the dock listening to the call of the loons swimming by or watch the sunset from the large and impressive deck with a nice glass of wine.
The open concept living room and kitchen are perfect for gathering together, and the large windows offer stunning views of the lake and provide ample natural light. A centerpiece stone wood fireplace adds to the room's charm. It is perfect for those cozy days and evenings. With comfortable seating on the sectional couch or at the dining table, it is the ideal space to gather with your family and friends and play a variety of board games. Whether you're settling in for a quiet night in or enjoying a lively game night, the living room is a great place to relax and unwind!
A large fully-equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, with all new appliances including the electric stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, pots/pans, coffee maker, kettle, spices and all the cookware to make a gourmet meal! There's plenty of seating at the dining table or on the 3-season screened-in porch for outdoor dining. The screened-in porch allows for uninterrupted views of the waterfront and the natural beauty that surrounds it.
The workspace in the master "Lakeview" bedroom is a perfect spot for those who need to work while away on vacation. The two large computer screens provide ample space and comfort for a productive work environment. With a view of the lake, it's the perfect place to escape from the distractions of daily life and focus on your work or projects.
Other features include a full bathroom on each floor (the one on the main floor is newly renovated and has a walk-in shower and includes the washer and dryer), fast Wi-Fi, TV and plenty of board games, puzzles and books for indoor entertainment. Some cleaning supplies, kitchen linens and bathroom towels are also provided.
Guest access
Roads and driveway to the Lake House are maintained and plowed in the winter. There is ample uncovered parking.

On Bobs Lake:
Bobs Lake is known for its excellent ice fishing opportunities. Some of the most common types of fish that you might catch while ice fishing on the lake include bass, perch, crappie, walleye, pike and trout. A marina is located a few mins away by boat, it has a convenience store (with ice cream, candy, other items) and a boat gas pumping station (seasonal opening). A small public beach and jumping rocks are accessible by boat only.
In Sharbot Lake:

The Kingston & Pembroke (K&P) trail
The Kingston & Pembroke (K&P) trail is a 180-km multi-use recreational trail that connects downtown Kingston to the Town of Renfrew. It is a popular destination for hiking, cycling, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. The trail passes through a variety of scenic landscapes, including forests, wetlands, and farmland, and offers access to a number of picturesque small towns and villages.
It is possible to snowmobile directly to Wheelers Pancake House! Taking a snowmobile to a pancake house for pancakes with delicious maple syrup and homemade sausages is a classic winter adventure.
Sharbot Lake Beach
The beach features a long stretch of sandy shoreline, with crystal clear water that is ideal for swimming, boating, and other water activities. The beach is a family-friendly destination, with a large swimming area that is roped off for safety. There is also a playground.
Sharbot Lake Provincial Park
The park covers an area of 437 acres and features a variety of landscapes, including forests, lakes, and wetlands. Nature trails are picturesque and offer a great variety of scenery.
Perth
Perth is a charming town located about 45 minutes away from the Lake House. The town is situated on the Tay River and is known for its beautiful historic architecture and picturesque downtown area. The town's downtown area is particularly noteworthy, with its beautiful limestone buildings, boutique shops, and cafes. You will also find a Dairy Queen, Starbucks, A&W, Dollarama, Canadian Tire and Tim Horton's. It also has restaurants that range from pubs to mouth-watering fine dining, as well as a micro-brewery, Perth Brewery. It has a variety of attractions and sight-seeing such as the Perth Museum, the Mammoth Cheese and the Big Red Chair. There is an arts and culture scene and various outdoor adventure activities.
Westport
The charming waterfront village of Westport is about 40 minutes away from the Lake House. The village is situated on the shores of Upper Rideau Lake and is known for its natural beauty, historic architecture, and vibrant arts community. There is a very picturesque beach, where you can enjoy a lovely picnic. The area is very proud of their local family-owned winery, Scheurmann's Winery. They are known for their delicious wood fired thin-crust pizzas. A meal at The Cove restaurant is always a great experience (reservation recommended), live music events are scheduled most evenings.
For golf enthusiasts, here are some golf destinations to explore in the region:
Rivendell Golf
In Verona, on Highway 38 and 25 minutes from the Lake House. The 18-hole course is situated on a beautiful landscape with rolling hills, mature trees, and scenic water views.
Perth Golf
About 45 minutes from the Lake House, Perth Golf is a 18 hole course and is known for its challenging layout, with several holes requiring accurate shots to avoid hazards and achieve par. In addition to its golf course, it offers a range of amenities for golfers and visitors.
Evergreen & Rideau Lakes Golf
Located on Wolfe Lake in Elgin, this 18 hole golf course is about 40 minutes from the Lake House. . You don't need to be a golfer to enjoy their new patio!
