This spacious cottage nestled into one of the few remaining Oak Savannas in the world is the perfect destination for a family getaway, couples retreat, or a gathering of mature friends 30 and older with a maximum of eight (8) adults or twelve (12) guests if the group includes at least two children.
The location is breathtaking in natural beauty and only a 15-minute walk to the private Sun Beach and a short drive to one of the most popular beach destinations in Canada, Grand Bend.
The space
Clean, sleek surfaces and warm wood accents create a crisp modern aesthetic while walls of windows immerse you into the woodland setting. The neutral palette, polished slate floors and rustic contemporary decor give it a relaxed, sophisticated appeal.
The master bedroom with a king-sized bed is a private indulgence that includes a spa-style en suite bathroom. Three other rooms include a queen-sized bed while the fifth bedroom is set up with bunk beds that can accommodate children up to 160lbs while two twin-sized rollaway beds offer additional space for sleeping.
The sizeable open upper level consisting of a gourmet kitchen, dining and living area with fireplace is ideal for gathering with friends and family and can comfortably serve 12 people while the sleek games room in the lower level offers guests the perfect entertainment spot.
With an expansive open deck connecting to the large covered patio with exterior dining and BBQ, the exterior space is ideal for outdoor gatherings.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home.
Early check-in and extended check-out times may be available between October and April, providing we do not have other guests checking in or out within 24 hours of your arrival or departure.
Mid-November to End of April: BBQ, bicycles and patio furniture are in storage and unavailable to guests during this time. We also do not maintain snow removal or ice on the patio, deck and walking paths, so guests accessing these areas during the winter do so at their own risk.
Other things to note
We have a max occupancy of 12 guests with a limit of 8 adults.
