A quiet place to reset. Tucked along the windswept coast of the Port au Port Peninsula, Huon House is a modern, minimalist container home.

This peaceful retreat invites you to rest, relax and reconnect. Sip coffee with an ocean view, watch the sun melt into the sea and let yourself slow down.

Wi-Fi is available but can be spotty due to our remote location and limited island coverage. We recommend downloading any maps or playlists in advance and packing a good book, just in case.

The space
Huon House is a small, cozy, rustic container home consisting of two (2) 40ft shipping containers, totalling 640 sqft of floor space.

Suited for a maximum of 4 guests and 1 or 2 pets.

The Main TV has an Amazon Fire Stick with an IPTV subscription to watch live TV, shows or movies. The bedrooms each have a Google Chromecast to cast shows or movies from your phone for entertainment.

Under the kitchen sink, you will find some cleaning supplies, if required.

Clear garbage bags are located beside the kitchen sink in the bottom drawer, along with dishwasher tabs.

The first aid kit is in the top drawer beside the fridge, and a fire extinguisher is on the small counter.
