Peace and quiet

Guests say this home is in a quiet area.
Raven's Nest is your private romantic escape — a cozy 96 sq. ft. tiny Cabin tucked deep in a 5-acre forested Homestead in the Almaguin Highlands.

Wake to Birdsong and views of pine trees through large windows, enjoy total seclusion, and unplug just 20 minutes from Mikisew Provincial Park trails & Eagle Lake.

Relax under glowing Fairy lanterns, Stargaze, or unwind with the Forest Shower and outdoor spaces.

We’ve thought of everything: Just bring groceries, ice, and your sense of adventure.

The space
**What Makes Raven's Nest Different**

We built Ravens Nest as a true private sanctuary for Couples who want to slow down and reconnect in nature.

Here's what truly sets us apart from many other Forest or Tiny Cabins:

Complete Privacy on 5 Acres - You’ll be the only Guests here — your Hosts live 325 ft away and are available if needed, but you’ll enjoy full seclusion.

No water traffic - just you and the trees.

Everything Provided for a Hassle-Free Stay: Just bring groceries and ice for your cooler.

Thoughtful Upgrades for Comfort: Forest Shower with hot water on Demand, Coffee Station to start your day and Bug zappers so you can truly relax outdoors.

No Cleaning Fee + Intentional 2-Night Minimum: We handle the cleaning so you don't pay extra. The 2-night minimum ensures you actually have time to enjoy the peaceful forest setting, amenities, and nearby hiking trails — instead of rushing in late and leaving early.

Designed for Restorative Couples Escapes: It's intentionally small (96 sq ft), cozy, and quiet — ideal for romance, wellness, and "hushpitality" in the woods.

My work: Homestead Manager
Favourite song in high school: I Wanna Know What Love Is
Hello! We moved here from the city in 2016 and built our Homestead. We found that being in nature helps one to be a truer version of themselves and to tune in to the messages from their soul.. We want to offer others the opportunity to tune in to nature, to rest, relax and reconnect to the true essence of themselves without the noise and chaos of the city. Sometimes, it is hard to listen when we don't have the time to just be and breathe.
