The space
In 2018 we completed a top-to-bottom renovation on the farmhouse to take full advantage of the expansive ocean views of Malpeque Bay. Outside, we have multiple sitting areas (including a fire pit) to enjoy all of the different views from the patchwork farm fields to the lobster boats trolling in the ocean. If you feel like stretching your legs, enjoy a short stroll on our 1km loop trail through our wildflower field or follow our newly built boardwalk down to our shallow waterfront that it is suitable for clam digging or collecting fresh mussels. You are centrally located to Cabot Beach (5mins), Thunder Cover (14mins), Cavendish (20mins) and in the heart of the artisan shops and galleries on the island! Our farmhouse is full of beautiful, old character and has the best in modern conveniences in our new kitchen, three washrooms and laundry. The custom designed kitchen comes fully equipped with all new appliances including a dishwasher, coffee maker (keurig), toaster, microwave, etc. The laundry has brand new smart phone friendly Samsung full-size appliances for your use. Enjoy the comforts of a home cooked seafood meal in our newly renovated dining room overlooking incredible sunset ocean views. The Master Suite is easily accessible on the main floor and has its own private deck and brand new 4-piece ensuite with a tiled walk-in shower and the original claw foot tub. All of the bedrooms are tastefully designed with beautiful antique beds outfitted with new mattresses and fresh linens. The upstairs washroom features double sinks and a tiled walk-in shower. On rainy days, feel free to tuck into a good read from our library or play a board game. The farmhouse has high speed wi-fi for your use to watch movies in the family room or catch up on your emails in the office located in the upstairs foyer. Please feel free to explore our beautiful 13 acre property along the ocean. The trails are maintained by our grounds crew and are suitable for walking or running. You will have access to our fire pit, Muskoka chairs and umbrella in our outdoor seating area, chairs on the private deck, and beach chairs and kid beach toys for your sandy beach days! On rainy days, please feel free to use the puzzles, board games, DVD's or tuck into a good read upstairs in the library!
Other things to note
Please note we have a pack-n-play, portable high chair and pressure gate available at the farmhouse for our guests that may be traveling with smaller children.
