There is one bedroom and living room with sofa bed, dining room and bathroom with shower. There is a bio toilet inside the bathroom. Must walk 40 meters from parking space to the cabin. The cabin has a modern standard and can offer a quiet atmosphere with Skogshorn as a view, large and nice terrace outside and fire pit. You can take a lovely bath in the bathtub, fire in the fireplace or take a quiet relaxing day with a book in bed. There are many hiking opportunities at Golsfjellet both winter and summer, ski slopes and nice bike paths. It takes about 25 minutes to Hemsedal with Norway's largest alpine resort, restaurants and High and Low climbing park. The nearest grocery store is Joker Robru about 10 minutes from the cabin.

Perfect place to enjoy peace and quiet, or as a starting point for great excursions no matter the season. 7 min to Norway's most beautiful golf course and the same distance to Aurdalsåsen with ski resorts and fantastic ski slopes. An hour from Jotunheimen with 255 of Norway's 300 mountain peaks over 2000 meters. And if you want urban city life, it is fifteen min to drive to the charming village town of Fagernes. Shop, restaurant and bakery within walking distance.

Unique and comfortable accommodation with a delightful view

Our newly built "sleeping box" is teikna and built by the inexpensive architects in OPAFORM, Espen Folgerø and Marina Bauer, and stands on the 2nd floor in a empty grain barn from 1850 with airy views of Strandavatnet. The box has a 1.80 double bed, but it can put in an extra mattress or cot if needed. In the barn that is located in the building next door, a kitchen, bathroom and toilet have been built. We offer a large double bed (king size). In addition, we can add an extra bed and/or baby bed if needed.

Cabin in the mountain village of Vats, Ål in Hallingdal

Cabin at 800 meters above sea level in the mountain village of Vats, Ål municipality. Great views over the village and mountains. Hiking and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, bicycle and hiking trails. It is just 6 km up to the high mountains in Skarvheimen where you can see Reineskarvet and Hallingskarvet. The cabin is located on its own and there is a road all the way to it. If you enjoy quiet and scenic surroundings, it is worth taking the trip here.

Charming farmhouse by the river, Gol, Hallingdal

Behind the house (20 metres) you'll find the river Hallingdalselva, where you can fish for trouts. You may borrow a canoe or a small rowing boat. Koselig kårstue på gård. Huset er bygget i 1905 og har interiør fra århundreskiftet til ca 1970. Store, lyse og luftige soverom i 2.etasje. Kjøkken og stue med vedovn og kamin i 1.etasje. Huset ligger like ved Hallingdalselva med flotte bade- og fiskemuligheter. Du kan låne robåt eller kanoer. Vi snakker norsk, engelsk og spansk.

Our cabin was renovated and rebuilt in the fall of 2022 and we could warmly welcome you and your travel companions! The cabin contains three bedrooms with double beds in addition to the loft/loft with double sofa bed. Large bathroom with washer/dryer and well equipped Kitchen. In the loft there is a TV that is connected to broadband, so you can stream what you want to see. Large porch with outdoor furniture and fire pit. Possibility to charge EV.
