We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We had a delightful stay. Kim is a very responsive and helpful host, and the house was clean and equipped with everything you might need for your stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. It’s a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful surroundings. Would recommend having a car, but we managed it all on public transport and the handy bikes at the house. The only confusing bit was the light switches that took some finding! If you’re looking for a comfy space an hour outside of Copenhagen, this is a great place.

We were there with the family and had a very good time. The pool was bigger than expected and the garden is great. Everything was the same as the photos. The garden has grown in nicely, so you don't notice anything from the neighbors. The amenities were very good. Beautiful beaches can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The nearby village of Asnæs is quite small, but there are 2 supermarkets and a good bakery, so you get everything essential.

place in nature, in the beautiful Danish countryside. Jeanne offers a very atypical accommodation. it's very clean and well laid out. i highly recommend this place. Especially since the host, Jeanne, is very pleasant and responsive to messages. good luck, signed the satisfied French ( which is quite rare😁)

Christina and Martin were very helpful and accommodating. Everything in the house was to your satisfaction and there were all the amenities you need. Had contact with them during the stay when we happened to make a mess with the pool cover but we got very nice treatment and they made sure there was a company and made it right. Highly recommend this house and nice host couple who took care of our holiday!

We enjoyed an extended weekend at the nice little house. Everything met our expectations. It's hugely cozy. The hosts were easy and sweet to communicate with.

If you want to surround yourself with Danish calmness, beautiful coastlines, a cosy house and wonderful garden, and feeling very welcome by the wonderful hosts Dicte and Mark (and if you are lucky the roe couple also passes by nodding friendly), this sommer house in Tisvildeleje is a top location for a Danish summer experience!

Karen & Ib are generous to share this wonderful place with their guests. We spent 2 weeks in Lynaes and we enjoyed every moment of it. Ok, we had mostly great weather! For us the apartment was perfect, some times just for the 2 of us and some nights having one of our daughters or friends visiting. Everyone who joined us, loved it. Its minimalistic and bright and confortable. Beach, village, marina, surf-center in walking distance. Excellent possibilities for running, cycling, windsurfing, SUP, hiking, eating out. Karen & Ib are excellent hosts. We hope to be back!

This was mu second stay in this House. Always accesible and friendly owners. A great little house in the middle of a very nice forest, perfect if you enjoy walking.

Lovely cottage in very quiet and beautiful surroundings. We got a lot out of both the sauna, wilderness bath and the fjord. ☀️ The hosts were really nice and welcomed us and helped with our inquiries during the stay 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Maren’s house. The house and gardens are even lovelier than the pictures and Maren is a great host who was very helpful. The area is gorgeous with lots of idyllic Danish beaches and seaside towns nearby. We especially loved the Rhubarb Farm just a short walk through the fields and had a very special dinner there. We loved our stay so much we are already talking about returning next summer if Maren will have us!

We stayed in Ekaterina’s place during a very dull, gray week in the end of December and it provided just the cosyness required to survive and enjoy such a week😅 The house is beautiful and super well equipped, the beach is a few minutes walk away and it is easy to get to shops. The perfect place for a get away to spend time with friends. We were two families with small children and had plenty of space to be comfortable, the kids loved being able to try out sleeping in the alcove and bunk beds… Absolutely recommend this place. Thank you Ekaterina for the great welcome and hospitality.

We had a 14 hour drive to reach Allan's place only to arrive to an awesome some surprise of a chilled wine waiting for us in the fridge ❤️ (Thanks Allan). The house was just great for me and my family. Very spacious and had all the amenities we needed, I was travelling with young kids which presents a challenge on its own. There were toys to keep them busy and the house is a real sanctuary. My sons loved exploring the garden, the beach nearby and we had plenty of walks in the surrounding area and were grateful that we could also use the family's bikes which came with child seats. Allan was very helpful and clearly communicated on everything around the house. Thanks for helping make our first visit to Denmark a memorable one!

Christines summer house is perfect for enjoying Nordsjælland. We had a few rainy days during our stay but it was no problem thanks to the nice house. It is very cosy but also super functional and have all you need as a small family. Our 2 y.o. daughter enjoyed the big garden and the toys very much.

Wow. What a beautiful house in a perfect location. The house sits among other summer houses just a short walk (and a long flight of steps) down to the sea. The house is architecturally stunning, light and open and very well equipped. The entire Danish Riviera has beaches, restaurants, cute fishing villages and plenty to see. There are local supermarkets and other amenitiew amenities. Annette was in contact before we arrived and super helpful throughout.

Wonderful stay even in the winter. Nice and warm and despite rainy days, nice and light house through the windows and fresh decor. Christmas tree with lighting was on when you entered and the stove was already on. Nice to celebrate Christmas together with our family! We took a cold splash in the sea and walked in the nature reserve nearby, coffee in tisvilde. Was a nice vibe!

It's our second time visiting Henry's lovely summerhouse. The first time was in the fall and this time in the winter. The house works super well both seasons, as you can enjoy the view of nature from the living room, where you can also warm up by the fireplace. The house is incredibly cozy with a very personal style, and then we are especially happy with the well-equipped kitchen, which provides good opportunities to make delicious meals during the stay. Henrik is a super good and friendly host, who always responds quickly to your messages, and who also goes to great lengths to make sure you have a great stay. Henry's house is definitely recommended - all year round - and we hope to come back another time :)

rasmus's house is really a gem in the middle of nature, a very quiet area, not many nearby amenities but the tranquility of the place allowed everything, really relaxing. The house reigns in the greenery with large windows makes you feel truly in a comfort zone. The amenities were all up to par, and for those who love nature or play sports nearby there are a lot of possibilities. However, it deserves to mention the ample space outside the house that is truly enchanting.
