Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hammonds Plains

Not our first time at the Carriage House and will definitely not be our last! The hosts are responsive and friendly, the house is cozy and has everything we need. Heating worked well, which we appreciated during a sudden cold snap. Everything is spotless. Very easy to walk into Wolfville. Couldn’t recommend this place tonight.

We had a wonderful stay, the place was great and accessible. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This was a perfect spot for a team retreat! There was great space to relax and work with wonderful amenities. The team loved cooking together and e we started day 2 with a quick drive to the beach for a walk. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Team members travelling in from Ontario and NB and metro found it easy to get to. We will absolutely be back next year!

Our family had a fantastic Christmas at Deanna’s. It looks exactly as advertised, and is just really comfortable. Deanna was very helpful and timely in responding to questions, prior to, and during our stay. She was very flexible and accommodating to meet our timing needs. Awesome location and view. The accommodation is great, well taken care of and great for a family stay. Will definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Our large family enjoyed a 5 night stay at the house and it is easily one of the nicest in our memory of AirBnB homes. There was lots of space for our group and the little kids loved exploring outside. We hosted some extra family one evening for dinner and found everything needed in the well appointed kitchen. The beds were very comfortable too! We loved everything about this home. It's little out of the city but that was ok for us. A memorable trip for us!

Cindy’s place was absolutely perfect for my stay in downtown Halifax! The location is unbeatable—close to great restaurants, the waterfront, and everything the city has to offer. The apartment was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. Cindy was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made sure i had everything needed. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Halifax!

An interesting location facing the scallop docks while 1 block from Main Street and restaurants (would recommend Bar Salvador for tapas and cocktails!). We were there off-season and parking not a problem but might be during peak season. The BnB exactly as pictured and the fireplace was great as the weather was cold and damp. Would go back.

Shelley and Julian are fantastic hosts. They really helped make our stay enjoyable. They are very responsive and friendly. The place was in a great spot and we were able to walk to all our destinations.

We had nothing short of an amazing stay at Tee’s place. We had the easiest check in, everything was so clean and looked exactly like the pictures, we enjoyed the hot tub every chance we got, and we loved that he provided us with a speaker!! Tee was so accommodating and easy to communicate with, which we really appreciated. It was the perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle, and a short 5 minute walk to the bus stop.. This was so convenient for us, since we were able to buy a bus pass and take the bus to the water. It was also a 5 minute walk to a bunch of cute shops, restaurants and cafes which is super helpful if you ever just want to go grab a quick coffee or a pastry, or go for dinner close by. We definitely will be back and would recommend Tee’s place to anyone looking to stay in Halifax. Thanks Tee!

Very clean and quaint spot to stay at. The theatre room was fantastic. Made my weeks stay a great time!

What a fabulous place!! We were so happy with the home and then surroundings. It was an incredible house and the decor was fantastic, very beachy. Loved the little things that were added like, coffee/tea shampoo/conditioner and soap. Instructions were clear and helpful.

It was an interesting stay for the host and for our group. First, I got a message that the air conditioning had failed the day before we arrived and the repair people were not available until after our stay. So the hosts put fans in all of the rooms! Then the hurricane came and it was not safe to stay. We left the day the hosts were coming to secure the house for the storm. And they initiated a refund for the days we could not stay! You can’t ask for more from hosts! The house is lovely and a great place to stay!

Our stay at Harbormist was one out of a dream Amazing space with such gorgeous. peaceful surroundings Well equipped, warm, inviting and one that was the perfect space to have a small, intimate family/friend celebration for my 50th birthday. Unforgettable and a place we would love to stay in again in the future. :)

The location is absolutely beautiful and more spacious than the photos show. We enjoyed watching the wildlife and rolling fog from the bright open windows throughout the house. The host is very excited to share the experience with guests by providing kayaks and local food/ activity recommendations. The property is well looked after by a neighbor / property manager who has great recommendations as well! The property is remote but still within reasonable driving distance of Halifax and other tourist destinations. We recommend you get groceries on your way in though as there are limited grocery options in immediate area. Farmers markets are easily found and have best of NS. Highly recommend for a beautiful and relaxing vacation!
