We have zero complaints about our stay in Harper's ferry! It was conveniently located and spotless! Great value! Great communication by the host!

My family (husband, two kids ages 4 and 6 and our dog) and I greatly enjoyed our three night stay at Alex’s beautiful home. The photos were extremely accurate and we loved the eclectic and creative decorations. There were so many interesting pieces of art and trinkets to look at. The two bedrooms were spacious and had extremely comfortable beds. Everything was spotless and obviously well kept. The kitchen had every appliance we needed to be able to have all of our meals at the house if we wanted. The area was peaceful and in close proximity to the historical lower town of Harper’s Ferry. Even closer was the Bolivar Bread Bakery - a MUST visit. They had the best bread and baked goods I’ve ever tasted. We went every morning and even stocked up on our way home. Overall, I would recommend Alex’s home for a comfortable getaway to West Virginia.

We loved our stay at the Carrot Top Cottage. It’s in a perfect location making everything so accessible. The cottage was peaceful & well kept. We couldn’t have asked for a better place during our visit to Harper’s Ferry. We also enjoyed all the recommendations in Bryan & Cathy’s guidebook. Would definitely recommend others to stay here!

We had a great stay! The cottage is lovely! It was comfortable, clean, and there was plenty of space for the 2 of us. We enjoyed walking to the sights in Bolivar & Harper’s Ferry. We will definitely stay again if we return to the area.
