This primitive cabin nestled in the woods overlooking the Grand River is a nature-lover's paradise! Come canoe, fish, experience wine country, or unplug and just get away from it all. Please note: There is no running water or electricity at the site, but the cabin is generator-ready and there is an outhouse. See below for more details.
“I and my partner spent a night in the cabin during a small road trip. We really liked the place. It is a small cabin, completely surrounded by the woods. It has a cozy porch with a table and a bench, grill with the necessary equipment, a place for a campfire (just like in the description,) plus some cardboard to start the fire. The cabin itself has beds that can very comfortably fit 2 and less comfortably fit 4 people. The windows are huge, so you will see the forest right in front of you when you wake up. The cabin is easy enough to find, even in the night, if you follow the check-in instructions. Also, there is a park with a beach on lake Erie nearby, plus a small touristy town Geneva on the lake, which may be worth to check out.”

“Such a beautiful home! Honestly wish we could have stayed longer but we were just looking to get away from home for the weekend. This was perfect! The place is clean and organized. The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans and utensils, even a mini toaster oven, so we were able to cook. It’s in a wooded area, so very private- but just a side note there are no blinds or curtains downstairs in the kitchen and living room, only in the bedrooms- I’m a little weird so that was my only thing I wish it had but there is plenty of privacy from the trees and the house being set back a bit from the road. Great, fast, considerate communication as well. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend!”

“We enjoyed our stay at Chris's place, he was a great communicator and checked in to make sure eveything was okay. It was the perfect size for our little family and in a good location.”
