What a beautiful place. Really enjoyed with my family. Amazing places to go for walks or hikes in the area. They allowed us a late check out, as nobody was coming that day, which was really appreciated.

Idyllic setting with the Tugela river flowing in front of your stone chalet. We participated in a local running event so it was so lovely to come home and rest our legs in the pool whilst we did some incredible bird watching.

Elsa's place was the perfect getaway for a long weekend. The views from the cabin and on our walks were spectacular and the location just idyllic. The cabin was equipped with everything you need, a wonderfully large fireplace and a cozy interior space. Elsa was a warm, accommodating host and I'm already planning my next stay.

We stayed three nights at Woodlands lodge, what an absolute pleasure. Janet was an outstanding host, she kept in touch through our trip, the unit was spotless and we felt right at home. We watched the stars at night, but the weather changed and snuggled up on the couch to warm coay fireplace. Janet is very well informed of the area, and suggested places we could explore. We will definitely return.
