“We had a great time staying here. It was an amazing cottage at an amazing location! The shower pressure and heat were perfect, the house nice and warm and the sheets perfectly clean. Next time I am hoping to stay for a longer time because it is a beautifull and wonderful place to relax. I woke up early to see the sun rise and watched deer enjoy a stroll on the grass with an eagle staring down on the fields in front of us. A real gem! Larry is incredibly nice and helpfull as well.”
For the next few weeks we will be deeply cleaning and disinfecting our space after each guest! We want to help keep our guests as safe as possible. Our house is nestled in the beautiful forest of South Hills. We are just down the road from a large shopping center with many stores and restaurants. It is conveniently located just a few minutes away from downtown Charleston, the University of Charleston, Yeager airport, and CAMC Memorial hospital and CAMC General hospital.
“I’ve stayed with Mark & Kaycee several times now and they are my first choice whenever I travel to Charleston. Exceeded my expectations the first time and every time since. Plenty of space, very clean, comfortable bed, and plenty of content on TV. Definitely recommend their place if you are spending a couple or many nights in the area.”
Camp Katherine, a happy, humble little cottage on a one-lane road surrounded by woods, near WV's capitol city. It's a granny house filled with local art and books, a quiet retreat, with old-timey porches and decks for relaxing. Built c. 1900, it's unpretentious, yet to be finished in some details but comfortably functional. To reach it, you drive winding mountain roads. Seven minutes, 2.3 miles from town. Dogs stay for an additional fee. See dog policy under Booking, Additional House Rules.
“Great Airbnb in Charleston, very beautiful nature, and the house has an old, but well-maintained feel. Host was great, very good about communicating. The house was very clean and we did not experience any issues. We also brought our dog and the host was very accommodating.”
