Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Hauraki District

The most peaceful beautiful stay for our anniversary. What made it even special was it being dog friendly!! Our pup just LOVED swimming in the creek and hiking to the waterfall (swimming there too haha). We all had the best time and are already planning our return. Thank you to our host for being so friendly and great communication

This cottage is really nice and placed in a lovely garden. The interior is designed with love for details. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed to be there exploring the valley and the beauties of Coromandel peninsula. Keri is a friendly host and we can recommend the Bakehouse Cottage to all who enjoy countryside vacation.

The bach was as easy walk to both the beach and the main shops. We loved our stay and Terry was very friendly and accomodating making sure it was easy to access on arrival and helped us quickly when needed. Thanks again for an amazing stay at the beach!

What an amazing piece of paradise! Modern and immaculate with everything you need for a private, peaceful and relaxing break. We will be back for sure and can’t recommend Hereford Cottage highly enough.

Wonderful spot with an amazing view. Lots for the kids to do, Flint was a hit, as was the fire pit, pool, spa and creek. Checked our eel trap as we left and caught (and released) an eel, memorable end to a lovely family mini break. Thank you Yana.

We can’t speak highly enough of this BnB! Rustic charm meets clean and modern convenience. Nikki and her family have done an incredible job and the photos don’t do it justice. The area and surroundings are gorgeous and you will have complete privacy. Every detail has been meticulously considered. The bus is set up with everything you need to cook the basics, and a BBQ is also provided. The nearby pub offers a free shuttle and we were collected from our doorstop (thanks Nikki for the tip). The fireplace was a delight and easy to use. We also loved the surrounding walks and cow scenery. The property is versatile - we are a couple who stayed for one night (though wished we had time for more) and are already making plans to come back with some friends for a longer stay. Lovely place to stay. Extremely spacious, modern and had everything we needed. Easy check in and very responsive host. Would love to stay again.

This house was a great spot for 2 families and dogs. Huge back yard for kids and animals to play in, a 3 story tree house to entertain the kids, lovely large front deck with all day sun. The house is modern, equipped with everything you would need for a short stay, cafe just across the road and very quick walk to the beach, dairy and fish and chip shop.

We loved our time here. Sharlene was helpful and we had no problems finding the house or while we were there The kitchen was supplied with so many extras including basic food items and cooking equipment etc. All the bedrooms were super comfortable and overall we felt totally at home. A special family time for us all. It rained the whole time we were there but we embraced the quiet and loved the bird life. A family of Tuis in the enormous Puriri tree kept us entertained! I would totally recommend to anyone.
