Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Haute-Loire

The accommodation was not very clean when we arrived following the departure of the former tenants who had not played the game of "cleaning". However, the accommodation is very functional, spacious, well heated in these rainy weather, in a place surrounded by nature. Every morning we had the deer visit in the field on the doorstep of the house. Thank you for the very pleasant stay.

Very nice atypical house with all the essentials to have a good stay. The setting is very pleasant, surrounded by nature where the river is waiting, the birds chirping. Beautiful hikes to do in the area to discover this beautiful region. Good location because not far from towns and villages to visit.

Nice and spacious house. In this season we enjoyed the fireplace and the large volumes of this old farmhouse. In summer the terrace and the barefoot trail must be very pleasant. Thanks to the hosts for their friendly hosting and responsiveness. We had a lovely stay at your place.

We had a great stay at Veroniques house. It has a lot of character and cosy interiors, à Lovely garden with multiple places to sit rest and eat. It’s a beautiful old renovated house. The environment is very peaceful, just a couple of houses around otherwise just countryside. You do need a car (or bike) as there is no shops in close walking distance and as it is full nature there might be the occasional bug, bird or bat. We loved it and would recommend it to people that are searching for a quiet, cozy place in nature.

We had a great stay. The house is very nice and bright, the rooms are spacious; the terrace and garden are really a plus. The garden is well enclosed, ideal for animals and children. I would totally recommend this place. It's a house where you can feel good. I won't hesitate to come back

We stayed at Marielle's place during a hike. The apartment is conveniently located 10 minutes from the center of Saint Julien and has everything you need to rest

What a wonderful place! You can really feel that Anne and her equally lovely family have put all their effort into making this a very special home! Extremely well equipped with excellent furniture, spacious rooms and extra comfy beds. The friendly chickens and cockerel entertained our toddler and there was a river to explore right next to the garden. with all its beautiful roses. It felt magical, peaceful and just what I needed to get away from the stress of the city. Anne and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful - we were very well looked after. We didn’t want to leave. :)

We had an exceptional two-night stay in this beautiful area. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by incredible, attentive and very generous hosts. For my wife's birthday, they upgraded us, a gesture that deeply touched us. The estate is a haven of peace, perfect for disconnecting from everyday life. Direct access to the forest and breathtaking views of deer, fallow deer and sheep added a magical touch to our stay. The accommodation was comfortable and well located for enjoying the surrounding nature. A big thank you to the hosts for their warm hosting and generosity. We would highly recommend this place for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway!

the accommodation is very nice, the wood burning stove is bigger than it appears in the photo the flames are very pleasant and gives a beautiful color to the room, the bedding is very comfortable , we arrived in winter in the middle of snow after a long road and we had a wonderful stay.

Very warm house, where you can feel good. The decor is beautiful, the kitchen is very well equipped, the rooms are decorated with great taste, the bedding is very good quality, many board games are available to us. We stayed there during a cousinade where we were 21 people.. it was magical!!! And all in a very nice setting! With very attentive and responsive hosts So I can only recommend this beautiful villa!

We were looking for a quiet and relaxing environment with the possibility of taking walks and visits, to spend the new year. We were spoiled by Virginia and Samuel's house (space, equipment, views...), as well as by the region (hikes, ski resorts, medieval villages...). As a bonus, we had snow and sunshine throughout our stay. Thank you again for your availability (and Julie's) and for the delicate attention upon arrival. We would highly recommend your listing.

the welcome was very cordial and warm and we received all the necessary information about the area to make it a very nice week. We enjoyed all the comfort from the house from beginning to end. We could go see the host with all our questions. the owner was so helpful. We recommend this house, an ideal base for exploring this area. Or to enjoy the estate quietly.

Really a recommended house. Quiet location. Nice view. All amenities. Good value for money. Fenced garden for the dog. Nice stove, Netflix, sound bar, comfortable kitchen, sun loungers, terraces well located. Very friendly and attentive host. Quick to respond, make suggestions. Shops and restaurants at 7 km, walks from the house. Region with lots of nature. Gorges de la Loire, beach (dog allowed), zoo. Cities also close by: St-Etienne, Lyon, Le Puy. Easily accessible. Nice garden for the children and the dog. Large terrace. Great.

We have just had a brilliant 12 day stay at Claudes Villa. It was lovely and cool inside and there was plenty of space for 2 families and the kitchen had everything you could need while there. We made great use of the pool which Bruno popped into service every few days. The views are beautiful and its very peaceful bar the local dogs barking every now and then. Its a ten minute walk into Vorey which had markets and evening entertainment a few nights a week and a couple of boulangeries and a great butchers. The supermarket is a 3 minute drive away. Fanette was very responsive with any queries. Just to note the garden and pool side furniture could do with updating but it didnt stop us having a great time. Would 100% recommend Claudes Villa for a great holiday. Thank you 👌

House located a little away from Vielprat, towards the hamlet of Leyris; very quiet location, pleasant terrace with a view of the forest, ideal for relaxing! The house is very clean and easy to use. Corinne is a host of great advice on points of interest in the area.
