Waterfront vacation rentals in Hawaiian Paradise Park

The place was exactly as described. It was very clean and well organized. All the stuff in the unit were high quality, all worked well. Really only issue is development is under some construction and some of the front parking was sort of closed off while the back by the unit was under construction as well. Very minor and I would recommend to anybody to stay there.

We've stayed in this condo complex last year for Merrie Monarch and really like the location. The view was amazing! Walking distance to restaurants/coffee shop we frequent. Everything was clean and we appreciated having access to netflix, etc, when relaxing at night. We never cooked, but noted that the kitchen was well stocked. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay in the unit again.

Scott's place is a little remote area tucked away in Kehena. Walking distance is a beautiful black sand beach that was honestly the most beautiful one I visited during my time in Hawai'i. The accommodation itself was well maintained, and Scott was such a pleasure. He's so friendly and would chat me up and check in whenever he saw me walk up to the property. This is overall an excellent spot. Tip: Be a little prepared on your journey here -- depending on your provider you might not get service, so GPS is hard to come by. I also could not make calls or check texts, which wasn't so much an issue once I settled in. The Big Island is also, well, big, and it takes more than an hour to get to places from Scott's, but with a little planning, you can get by just fine!

The perfect place for a quick trip to Hilo. We would stay there again.

Excellent location, very quiet with amazing views from the window/balcony. Comes with dedicated parking space, instructions are inside the apartment along with the pass. The apartment itself is clean, bright, plenty of the space for two people. The kitchen and bathroom are old, but that’s not a negative, everything worked and clean, just not seen a 1980s dishwasher in a long time! Would highly recommend for staying in Hilo

My husband and I stayed here for a week with another couple. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We spent every morning drinking coffee on the porch listening to the waterfall. We swam in the natural pool and ventured into Hilo and surrounding towns. The location is very close to many Hilo restaurants and a grocery store. We had the most amazing, adventurous, yet relaxing week. Don’t forget to back down the driveway! It is as steep as Sierra warns. We hope to visit again!

The Whale House was even better than advertised! The location was easy to find and so beautiful! We used this as our home away from home to explore Volcanoes National Park, Punalu’u Black sand beach, Volcano winery, and multiple waterfalls. Our family also enjoyed relaxing, reading, and napping on the lanai and in the hammock swings. The garden out back was a delight to explore. The lava cliffs were also very cool!! David & Chrystal provided everything we needed and more! The kitchen was well equipped- we made several meals. The cooler and beach equipment came in handy when we visited the black sand beach. The bikes were also a nice bonus. We really never wanted to leave and would love to come back soon!

We had a party of 6 which included a 6 and 9 year old. The home was clean, especially the bathrooms and kitchen you felt right at home. Although no AC it was still comfortable with the fans and we would be out during the day where it was hot the most. The tv was available and the kids enjoyed it. Loves how there was lots of sitting space and layout of the house. Two bathrooms helped so much with the 6 of us. The outside porch was terrific too. Labels on the light switches helped and were thoughtful. A very convenient location. Thankful for airbnbs available like yours !

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Janice was so kind and communicated great with us. The view is even better in person and the house was bigger in person too! Everything pictured is better than you can imagine. We saw turtles from the cliff every day! Hot tub was fun and so were the games. Neighborhood was great for walks and everyone is so friendly. We did not want to leave!

This place and stay was nothing short of magical. Long story short if you’re reading this - BOOK IT.

Shiva's cottage was absolutely wonderful. We loved everything about it...the deck that practically overhangs the ocean, the house layout, the design-we especially adored the kitchen floor-the whole house was beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches throughout. Shiva was a pleasure to work with-very welcoming and great communication. The area is quiet and peaceful, which is just what we were looking for, after a busy week in Kona. Thank you Shiva for an amazing stay-we can't wait to come back!

Wonderful home for a vacay on the east shore. This home is so unique, built with 12 sides, it’s a clever design that keeps the home cool. We enjoyed our time on the lanai the most.

Gene's place was fantastic! Great location ..walking distance to Merrie Monarch Festivities. Beautiful walk through the lagoon park to the beach every morning . Great location, great price , definitely recommend !

We had a issue with the shower head on arrival. Vacasa and their team were so quick to address the issue. The gentleman who manages the entire property was so wonderful. He met us on checkin and made us feel very welcomed from the start. They were repaving the parking lot and he had an entire plan in place for parking guests as we arrived if our spot was affected by the current paving. The place was quiet and relaxing. Would recommend this location to anyone wanting to use it. We had a small child and the hosts have thought of everything there were even some kids books there :)

I was there with my boyfriend for the week. The location was great! Within walking distance g distance to great restaurants and the best farmers market I’ve ever been to. The views are absolutely stunning. Watching the sunrise in the morning was so beautiful. We felt right at home. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much Carla and Joe! It was a little slice of heaven there.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Hilo! The ocean view was excellent, as we saw whales in the distance from the room itself. Private access to the ocean and the pool made it feel like our little slice of paradise. The property was fantastic—loaded with great amenities, including an inviting pristine pool area. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and well thought out, making our stay seamless and relaxing. The location was perfect, too, with some amazing restaurants just a short distance away that added to the overall experience. From start to finish, everything went smoothly, and we left feeling so happy and refreshed. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hilo—5 stars all the way!

I have stayed in a lot of Airbnb accommodations. This condo is the best. It it's perfect for one or two people it they aren't sharing beds. I love sitting on the balcony and watching the waves. I have been here multiple times and I am very comfortable here. Restaurants, market, and beaches are close and easy to access. I love staying here. Thank you!

Sonja and Alex are exemplary Airbnb hosts! They are thoughtful and attentive. We could not have asked for more! If you are going to the Big Island, do yourself a favor and stay in this beautiful oasis. My husband and I had an amazing time, Sonja and Alex left chocolates and fresh island fruits in our space and made us feel 100% at home. Future visits to Hawaii (big island) will be spent here. Perfect condo air bnb for our 2 night stay in Hilo! Wish it were longer. One of the most well equipped rentals I’ve had. Roku TV, pool, fridge, oven, microwave, coffee pot, and clean fluffy towels. Nice studio on the ground floor. Jungle feel to surrounding grounds. Close to all the prime Hilo spots. Easy in and out. Clearly Vivian aims to please! Thanks for a great stay!
