Welcome to this cozy cottage at the edge of Dalälven, 5 km outside Hedemora. Grill on the patio, sauna and take a swim from your own jetty. Indoors, there is a modern kitchen, toilet with shower, fireplace, TV and WiFi. The sauna is wood-fired and the plot basks in the sun in the mornings, sun all the way into the afternoon down on the dock. Firewood and canoe are available for a fee. Cuddle up next to the fireplace and enjoy the sunset before bed. In the winter, experience the white landscape, walk or ski on the frozen lake. Alpine or cross-country skiing in close driving proximity.

Vi har renoverat vårt gårdshus med kunskap om byggnadsvård, miljö och hållbarhet. Äggoljetemperans vackra kulörer pryder väggarna och äkta linoljefärg är en självklarhet i ett hus från sent 1800-tal. Fina kakelugnar värmer skönt och köket är stort och rymligt Vintertid finns fina förutsättningar för skidåkning för längd och utförsåkning vid Romme alpin. En c:a 8 km lång skridskobana plogas på vår sjö med anslutning c:a 100 meter från gården. Huset är beläget nära städerna Falun och Borlänge.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Boende närmare vattnet är svårt att hitta. Att ta båten eller vintertid gå ut till Holmen utanför för att grilla och se på solnedgången är ett extra plus. 2 supboard finns att hyra, samt elmotor till båten. Se även min guidebok som finns i min profil. Internet fungerar bra med mobilt bredband via Telia m.fl. VINTERINFO: Romme Alpin och Kungsberget är slalombackar 65 km bort. Ryllshyttebacken är en trevlig familjebacke 12 km bort.

Welcome to our farm where you can sleep in one of the guest houses. On the farm, there are chickens that you can visit and maybe you can taste some of their eggs. Raspberries, apples, blackberries, gooseberries, tomatoes and many other things are also available in the summer. In winter, we have ski trails, ice skating and other things nearby.
