This is a truly cozy 27-square-metre cottage with a newly renovated bathroom and kitchen, as well as a 29-square-metre veranda offering a magnificent view of Lake Siljan. The cottage is located on a private property (5,000 m²) in the beautiful village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The village is located along Lake Siljan, 10 minutes to central Leksand and just as close to Tällberg. There are nice walking paths along Lake Siljan nearby, both summer and winter.

The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Welcome to our guest house in the cottage area Hästhagen by Lake Öjaren. A few minutes from Högbo Bruk with nice cross-country skiing, mountain bike arena, golf courses, canoe rental, paddle tennis, etc. 25 minutes from Kungsberget's ski and bike facility. Walking distance to the lake for swimming and fishing. 1 km to Gästrikeleden with nice hiking and many miles of bike trails. In winter, 5 km ice rink on the lake within a few minutes' walking distance.

Boende närmare vattnet är svårt att hitta. Att ta båten eller vintertid gå ut till Holmen utanför för att grilla och se på solnedgången är ett extra plus. 2 supboard finns att hyra, samt elmotor till båten. Se även min guidebok som finns i min profil. Internet fungerar bra med mobilt bredband via Telia m.fl. VINTERINFO: Romme Alpin och Kungsberget är slalombackar 65 km bort. Ryllshyttebacken är en trevlig familjebacke 12 km bort.

Ta en paus och varva ner i denna fridfulla oas. Nära till naturen men ändå inte lång från samhället. Stugan ligger i utkanten av en by där skogen tar vid, en å flyter intill stugan.En mysig grillplats finns där man laga matt på öppen eld, eller bara och njuta av brasan. 4 km till närmaste affär och 10 km in till staden Sandviken. Fina bär och svampställen i närheten. Det finns en liten skogssjö 30 minuters gångväg från stugan.

Double bed on the sleeping loft and bunk bed that is best suited for children on the lower floor. Nice view of the lake. Eka is available to borrow. Duvets and pillows are available, but bed linen can be added for SEK 25/set.
