The Emme river flows nearby and invites especially in summer for cooling off, barbecuing or taking a walk. Various restaurants and cafés provide culinary diversity. Shopping possibilities: Migros, Denner, Coop, bakery, butcher, cheese dairy. Tourism: - located directly on the "Herzroute" - Cheese dairy Affoltern - Burgdorf Castle - and more.

Rural and yet not far from any civilization lies our small living and garden dream. The old stone house is located in Ersigen near Burgdorf BE, a twenty-minute drive from Bern. In the village there is a café, three restaurants and a farm store. The bus to the nearest major shopping facility leaves every 30 minutes during the day. We occupy the second floor of the house and rent two rooms with kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. We are happy to answer any questions you may have!
