Wine Farm Cottage

The cottage offers guests an unique opportunity to stay on a rustic working wine farm. It forms part of the farmstead of a historic wine farm, but has its own little garden with a view over vineyards. It is located on the R44 between Stellenbosch and Somerset West, which makes it the ideal place to reside when exploring the many surrounding wineries and restaurants. The road may be a bit noisy, but most guests hear birds more often than they hear cars. The cottage was built in the 1980’s.

The Rigel Retreat

The Rigel Retreat is a relaxing getaway with amazing garden views which backs onto a nature reserve. The private open plan interior with an attached kitchenette. The space offers a patio with a braai area and hammock which you are welcome to enjoy. Situated on a hill, the views of the Helderberg basin are incredible. The guest suite is located in a safe, quiet neighbourhood with a park only a short walk down the road. Somerset West has a wide variety of sites to explore.

Pool and outdoor area are available for shared use and sauna and jacuzzi can also be offered by arrangement.

Come and stay in our peaceful studio cottage high up on Helderberg Mountain surrounded by trees and hear the owls hooting as you fall asleep! Beautiful new cottage, with it's own deck and garden and stylishly furnished to meet your every need. And now with solar installed (April 2023) we have NO LOAD-SHEDDING! We've replaced the oven and hob with a fully gas stove so all appliances can be used during load shedding!

Stonewall guest suite

This guest suite is set on a working wine farm in the winelands between Somerset West and the historic town Stellenbosch. It is situated in what used to be the stables and has since been converted to a tasting room and guest suite. The suite consists of a big, airy room, a separate kitchenette and a bathroom. It has its own front porch with a view over the farmstead and it is adjacent to a chicken coop.
