Monthly stay cancellations by guest

For home reservations 28 nights or longer, a long-term cancellation policy applies.

Check your cancellation policy

Your host may have a firm or strict long-term cancellation policy. To check it, go to Trips and find it under Reservation details.

Cancel your home reservation

You can cancel your reservation anytime before or during your trip. However, depending on your host’s policy guidelines, keep in mind:

  • Your first payment might be nonrefundable, depending on the home listing and how far in advance the reservation is made
  • If you cancel after the trip has started, the following month of the reservation is nonrefundable
  • Your host can choose to offer an additional refund

Change the dates of your home reservation

If you don’t need to cancel your monthly stay and only want to change the dates of your confirmed home reservation, you can submit a trip change request to your host.
