Create an account

Creating an Airbnb account is free and easy. To sign up, visit Airbnb.com, or download the Airbnb app from the App Store or Google Play.

Multiple ways to sign up for an account

You can sign up for a new account on desktop or mobile browser, or in the Airbnb app by providing any of the following:

• An email address and a password
• Your phone number
• Google or Apple account
• Naver account (for South Korea)

What’s required before you list or book a stay

Every Airbnb community member is required to go through our identity verification process. For hosts, we’ll collect this when you publish your listing. We’ll collect this for guests when you book. You can begin the verification process here.

If more information is needed, we’ll let you know so you can complete the creation of your account.

You’ll need to verify your identity before you can get started hosting. Every community member is required to go through this process.

If you already have another account

If you have more than one Airbnb account, you unfortunately can’t merge accounts. However, you can delete or deactivate the account you use the least. Learn more about what to do if you have multiple accounts.
