“Shirley and Ron’s AirBnB is one of the best weekend getaways I’ve had in a long time. I brought my little pup out to escape the city for the weekend. We both enjoyed ourselves so much it was hard to leave. When I arrived, a nice little snowstorm blew through and everything was covered in snow. It made their already beautiful property that much more wonderful. They truly have thought of everything you would need and more. One of the fondest memories of the weekend was sharing a cup of coffee in their home before leaving (I didn’t want to leave!). I’m looking forward to bringing my wife back out in the summer. Also, make sure to take the time to hike the property. There’s an abundance of wildlife, creeks, caves, and a couple small waterfalls. Truly beautiful. Thank you, Ron and Shirley!”
Located directly on the Buckhannon river, you will love this river/mountain retreat. Our camp offers swimming, fishing, hiking and more. 15 Minutes from Buckhannon, Philippi and Audra State Park. Elkins and Clarksburg about 35-40 minutes. NO PETS-NO SMOKING
“The cabin is a great place to hang out and get away. We wanted somewhere that had river access where we could fish, which is pretty hard to find. The river was really high during our stay so the fishing was not good for us. We spent the evenings sitting on the "beach" by a fire. The neighbors house is super close to the cabin, it wasn't a problem for us, they were really nice but the cabin is not secluded from other people. We did drive the short distance to Audra State Park, the cave trail is beautiful! I actually enjoyed the "outside" shower, I think I need to build one at my house! Dennis was super kind and quick to respond, the check-in and out was easy. Google maps took us right to the cabin. We drove into Buckhannon for a few supplies and tried the Muskee fishing there.”

“Historic Beverly WV Home Loved this second story suite in historic town close to Elkins WV! When looking at this listing, was happily surprised that hosts did not pile on big fees. Final price was more than reasonable, especially to history enthusiasts. Originally it was the home of Chenoweth, a bright engineer who designed the covered bridge over the Tygart, just out his window. His family watched as enemy troops burned the bridge in the Civil War. Spacious rooms and very clean. Small touches such as umbrella, filtered water, snacks etc. Jamie was a responsive, upbeat host. Many thanks!”
