Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Henderson County

This was our second time to stay at Bob’s place in the guest house. The place is super nice and I recommend highly. The only thing we didn’t enjoy this time was there was another family in the main house that took up the main dock the entire time we were there. The family was super nice and I didn’t feel like it was my place to asked them for some time on that dock. Bob is in the process of building another dock so that will be shored up soon. There will be plenty of room when he is all done. Other than sharing the place with another family you couldn’t ask for a better place. It’s clean and beautiful. Thanks again Bob.

We have stayed at many places at Cedar Creek & this is our home away from home & first choice going forward. Suzy is the best. Super accommodating and personable. Of course her home is clean, cozy, comes with an amazing lake view.

We absolutely loved our stay! We stayed for 2 nights for my finance’s 46th bday. Our host was super friendly, personable, and responded within minutes of messaging. The house was so adorable, so much personality/charm, and so clean! House was as pictured but we all said “but better”. House was fully equipped with everything we needed so we didn’t have to pack much! Bedrooms had blackout curtains and amazing mattresses - we slept like babies! Can’t forget about the shower - so awesome! The backyard leading up to the water was gorgeous. We literally stayed outside the entire time. The fire pit area was peaceful, we used both grills, and we fished all night - both days. We caught 10+ catfish and a few turtles which was super fun. Neighbors were very nice and gave us our privacy. 10 out of 10 we rate this place and we hope to stay again soon!

Michael made contact, was quick to respond. I had an issue where I overlooked the No Pets. Michael was able to get me in another airbnb. Of course, I had to pay additional but it was a beautiful home, my kids loved it and the lake view was amazing.

This was a phenomenal experience! Brian went above and beyond for our family to provide a memorable 14th birthday for my son. The house was spacious, clean and had everything you needed for a family. Even accommodations for my 4 year old and 4 month old. He was truly truly wonderful. There was a small issue with the pool and Brian drove all the way to the airbnb to correct it then took care of us. I can’t say enough how fantastic he was and how fantastic the home was! We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time. Exactly what we were looking for. Closet to lake with a pool. He was also accomodating when one of our pets got injured and needed to come along. very friendly and quick to respond

Amazing place conveniently located near Dallas and Houston, perfect for a family get together. It's private, peaceful and ideal for a staycation to unwind and have fun. The hosts are incredibly responsive and friendly, couldn't ask for more.

Sunset Haven was great! There were some minor issues, but they were dealt with in a very timely manner. The location on the Lake was great for fishing. It's only about a 10 min or less drive to the nearest public boat ramp (Tom Finley Park). Our grands had a great time on the hot tub. The pool was just a tad cold as it's not hot, hot summer yet. The pool table was a huge plus! For the price and all the amenities, this was a WIN in our books! "

Bonnie was incredibly sweet and helpful. We had an absolute blast. There was 7 huge dead fish floating by the dock because of the weather that came (Tornado), but that is not the Hosts fault. We caught tons of different fish varieties and we slept great there too which is uncommon for us! The dock is huge with plenty of space to fish, however the ramp to get to the dock has fallen making it unsafe for anyone with mobility issues. The ground from beneath washed away so the ramp needs to be redone which Bonnie plans to do asap. Overall we would definitely recommend! Easy hosts to work with, very helpful and kind.

We had the best experience at this AirBnB! Karleen knew we were celebrating bdays and she set the house up with decor, a homemade cake and jam, wine, and s’mores kits! We felt so cared for by her! The view is stunning though there is a highway in the way of the lake view just fyi. Everything was spotless and plenty of cook/serve ware was provided for our 18 guests. Karleen was very responsive and so sweet! Lots of bugs due to being by water so bug traps and/or bug spray would be amazing to have at this location! Overall amazing experience!! Thank you!

Our family had a wonderful stay. We spent the weekend with extended family and there was plenty of room for everyone! We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and visiting. Beautiful and quiet location. Regina was helpful and responsive during our stay and this home is an amazing value. We will be back!!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! It felt just like home. The space was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for our family. Our host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a homey getaway. Will definitely come back!!

Mike and his wife are a lovely couple. We rented the camping spot number two for a month when we came to visit our granddaughter. It’s a lovely spot. Highly recommend you staying there if you are going to Bullard or Tyler.

Taylor is very nice and helpful. We were traveling for work, but the house is unique and fun. We would stay again if we were back in the area.

Such a great little place. Even better than the pictures of it! They had such nice little extra touches as well. Bed was very comfortable. I adored the place. It was a nice way for us to recharge and relax!
