Seedwood Barn

SarahRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a lovely stay at Seedwood Barn, Kate was a friendly and helpful host. She even lent us some flasks to take with us on our walking days. She had great local recommendations and the place was comfortable, warm and well equipped for our stay. Thank you Kate!

The Annex at The Oaks

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Highly recommend this beautiful annex, Trudy was so helpful from start to finish. The annex is more beautiful in real life than the photos show, and the hot tub was well needed after a 7mile hike. We had a bbq in the garden, late night log fire. Local pub the white lion was a 5 minute walk, with beautiful views. The Annex has beautiful views, a comfy bed, the kitchen has everything you need, even a gin on arrival. Thank you for your hospitality Trudy.

Hygge in Herefordshire. Stable Cottage

AnthonyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Fiona's place is a cute but well-equipped one set in a private and peaceful area but with close amenities. We loved our stay at Stable Cottage. Fiona went over and above to accommodate us and ensure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. We even got to say hello to two of her furry hosts. Dougie loves to play!

The Pleck

SteveRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We love The Pleck, this was our second visit. There are plenty of walks that can be done without needing the car. The Yew Tree pub is close by and is very friendly. The Pleck is very private and meadow is a wonderful place spend time. We’ll certainly look to return for a third visit. Finally, Bridget and Wil are great hosts.

Beautiful stay near River Wye

SasithaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely loved our stay at Heidi's place! The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated- everything we needed for a comfortable stay was right there. Heidi was a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and made us feel super welcome. The location was perfect too-quiet and peaceful, but still close to everything we wanted to see and do. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

The Nest @ Woonton

KristenRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an amazing stay at the nest! It is a lovely peaceful location with plenty of space! The wood fire was warm and cosy and the sofa was so comfy and honestly a big selling point for us and lovely to chill on in an evening! The property was clean and just so so lovely! The hosts are very helpful, quick to respond and answered all our questions quickly. It honestly is a beautiful place to stay. It is quite rural but we wanted that as we live in a city it was nice to be in a quiet space! We drove into Ludlow about 35 minute drive and had an amazing meal at a restaurant called The French Pantry I really recommend this place it was extremely good food! The cooking facilities at the nest are great with everything you need so we also cooked as well. The bathroom is lovely and feels brand new! I really recommend this. We could 100% come back xxx

Nuthatch Chalet

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is one of the nicest places we have stayed, if you want to get away from all the noise and busy normal life, then this is where you go, it was spotless with everything we ever needed, we didn’t bother going out in the evenings as it was just to nice to leave the hot tub and stare at the stars. Lots of places to walk the dog, Matt was so helpful and friendly. Definitely coming back!

Cosy Rustic Cottage in Jacobean Farmhouse grounds

RichardRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This is a unique and stunning property - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ideal for 2 small dogs on bonfire night, well away from any noise, people or traffic. Cottage is very comfortable with everything you need - the sofa bed is very comfortable and we had a great sleep - so we are going to buy one! Jude is very helpful and friendly and worth checking his website to learn more about what he and his family are doing and vision for the property. The main house is stunning. Only issue we had was finding the place - combination of a stitch up between the sat nav, mobile phone which lost reception and w3w coupled with a very later than planned arrival. Jude very kindly came out and rescued us and took us to the property. It is easy to find - head up Bickey Lane, over the railway bridge and keep going past the sign for ‘Gated Road’ on LhS - driveway is about 200m after the junction. Look for house sign “Upper Lowbourn”. Be sure to bring a torch and your wellies!!

Hare Cottage

MeganRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely stay at Hare cottage. Mary & Chris are spritely and welcoming hosts, whom quicly made us feel at home. The accommodation is spacious and self contained and offers stunning views of the Herefordshire countryside. Both Ross On Wye and the Forest of Dean are within 30 minutes or so by car, making this a great place to stay for going out and getting stuck in to the forsest bike trails and fishing or canoeing along the river Wye. Ross On Wye offers plenty of choice to eat and drink. We will certainly be visiting again in the future!

A delightful dog friendly cosy cottage for two

DianeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a gem? Little cottage in the countryside overlooking fields, horses etc., just what we like. We had comprehensive instructions of everything relating to the cottage and the bed was so very comfortable, best nights sleep for ages! Penny was so helpful with our little old deaf dog. This was the first time we had taken her away as she has had a chequered history so it was encouraging to see her settle in well. We were made very, very welcome. Thank you Penny, we hope to be back.

Characterful Country Annexe

TracyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely long weekend break at Abbie’s for Easter. It’s a lovely place with everything you need. We used it as a base and did some exploring. There is a lovely dog walk through the bluebell woods nearby and then had a lovely soak in the hot tub too. We met Abbie & her family who were very lovely and even got to meet their new pet goats. Great place to stay, we would highly recommend.

The Lodge @ Woodbury Grange

SharonRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Absolutely fantastic stay at Hanna’s for a local cycling event. Very clear instructions on accessing which were helpful. The Lodge was spotless when we arrived and smelt amazing. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything was clean & ready to use. Lovely thoughtful extras, including toothpaste, (which in the past we have forgotten to take away with us but didn’t need this time) coffee machine and breakfast foods. We would definitely recommend. Thanks for sharing The Lodge with us.
