In this tastefully renovated former garage next to our house, you can comfortably come home after a long walk or a day of shopping in Haarlem. Amsterdam is also close by. Enjoy a weekend getaway close to the beach and dunes. By bike you can reach the beach in less than half an hour and in National Park Kennemerduinen you can spend hours hiking and cycling. Swimming in the sea or in the dune lake is also wonderful! At the studio you can rent a men's bike and a women's bike for €10 per bike per day.

Het Soomerhuys is in the center of it all! As the train station is just 1 minute away you will be at Amsterdam Station and Haarlem station within 10 minutes and at the beach within 20 minutes. Our B&B is equipped with all modern facilities such as a modern kitchen, Philips Hue lighting, smart TV and Quooker. The cozy veranda is complete with a luxury Jacuzzi and wood stove. The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

It's a 15-minute walk along the river to the city center, and you can do it in 5 minutes by bikes we provide. 20 min to Amsterdam by bus or train, 20 min to the beach bus/train, bike 30 min. It is 40 minutes from the airport.

The location of the historic barracks, The Ripperda, is not only beautiful but also wonderfully central.

Of course the beach of Zandvoort and Bloemendaal aan Zee is easy to reach as well. Amsterdam is just 15 min by train. After a beach day or city visit you can relax on the patio.

"Adults only" stay in horse stable with skyview

Stay on a farm with cows, horses, sheep, chickens and dogs. The B&B is unique, come and enjoy the National Park, beach, sea and the city of Haarlem a stone's throw away. A fantastic place to relax and enjoy the sky view from the bed in any weather. Rural and yet also close to the village. Horseback riding is not possible, but petting and visiting is of course possible!
