“This is by far the best AirBnB place I have stayed in. It was easily accessible by the Shinkansen & JR train from Osaka City. The hostess picked us up from the train station and her staff was very thorough with her introduction of the house. We traveled with our then 8-month old baby who had a great time crawling around on their very clean floor. The 2x breakfasts they offered were delicious and they even prepared bottled water for each of us. The house is located in a small quiet town and we had a good time exploring it. It's about 1.5 hr drive to Shirakawa-go but if I were to visit again, I would hands down book this place again instead of staying closer to Shirakawa-go.”

“Great location in a peaceful neighbourhood. The house is a part of a large house structure which comprises of 2 restaurants and another BNB, but all separated hence full privacy. Located near many drug stores and a local supermarket. There’s also a convenience store just cross the road which we did not visit. We end up using our night shopping at the supermarket for groceries. Very large selection of Japanese food products. The house is fitted with complete utensils, cooking oil was used up but we get one for ourselves, no issues. Bath was fantastic with a very big round porcelain like material tub with 2 glass windows. Equip with washers as well in case of laundry. As we stayed during the winter, it was slightly cold at night in the bedroom with only a ac heater. Would be better if there was a gas heater was well. It was very much well heated in the living /dining room with ac plus gas heater combined. The stay was even made better with Japanese breakfast delivered to the house In the morning while we were still asleep. The drip coffee provided was also fantastic.”

“Junko’s house is 15mins drive from Takayama. The village is very quiet and beautiful. Typical Japanese style house! The Supermarkt and Macdonald are both within a five mins walk. Junko provide a shuttle service from takayama station. During your stay you can also borrow a bike to ride in the beautiful mountain village. There is also a local train station, you can take a train to city Takayama. Junko’s house is perfect for travelers who travel slowly or want a quiet break. Junko and her family are very kind. They live in a house next door and very easy to contact them if you need help. And they will not disturb you during your stay. Perfect! I am very satisfied with my stay in Junko’s house .and I am very grateful to Junko and her family that they receiving me very warm during this special period. I will definitely visit this place again with my family next time.”
