Opened in August 2020, Onomachi Yard is a one-group-per-day inn located in a renovated 120-year-old white-walled storehouse in the heart of Hida Furukawa. For those who want to enjoy Hida leisurely, for those who want to spend a quiet time, as well as those who want to stretch their legs a little further to Hida Takayama, the World Heritage Shirakawa-go, Okuhida Onsen, Shinhotaka Ropeway, Kanoka-cho, where the world's largest underground neutrino observatory Super Kamiokande is located, and the activity "Gattango!!" that combines cycling and the abandoned railway.etc., please enjoy your favorite style based on Onomachi Yard. In the winter, there are two ski resorts in Hida city (30 minutes by car), and there is also a hot spring facility. You can enjoy a relaxing bath while watching the garden from the open-air bath. The inn is located in Sanmachi, where there is an old town, and Kamisannomachi is just a short walk away. You can also walk to the Yatai Kaikan of Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, Hiei Shrine, and Takayama Jinya. Hida has many tourist attractions such as Shirakawago, Okuhida Onsen Village, and Shinhotaka Ropeway. There is a bus from Takayama City, making it easy to visit. HAKU is a Japanese Style Villa. You can enjoy your private time as in your home. “HAKU“ is one of the readings of the character “百” which means “hundred”. Medieval Haiku poet, Basho Matsuo likened eternal passage of time to "百代の過客", a permanent traveller. In his time, a hundred years was expressed as eternal. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.

When you enter the house from the front entrance, you may feel as if you are in an old Japanese house. You can also enjoy the "horigotatsu" and "open-air bath".
