“Fab anniversary stay! We loved this place, having stayed in one of Ralph’s other places in medstead we knew it would be good. We visited clovelly one day which was lovely and then went to a pub an 8 min drive away called the farmers arms (so worth it!) Couple of pointers The bathroom doors are very flimsy so privacy is a bit of a problem. The road leading up the caravan has lots of potholes and would not be suitable for all vehicles. It isn’t as remote as the pictures show but still there wasn’t many around so it was ok. Overall an amazing stay - the hot tub is so cool. I had tons of friends asking where this was so I’m sure you’ll have lots of follow up bookings!”
Beautiful cosy wagon with verandah, private terrace, barbecue, firepit, 10 acres of beautiful fields to walk in and a hot tub to enjoy under a sky full of stars. 10 minute walk to village pub for dinner and a pint. Woodburner and electric heating to keep you cosy. Shower room, mezzanine bedroom with double bed, further double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen area, dining area, covered verandah with seating, superfast Wifi, onsite private parking. Up to two dogs welcome.
“Larkworthy Retreat is a great place to get away from it all. The wagon has everything you need and the hot tub is the icing on the cake, especially under the stars. It was the perfect place for a couple of nights away. We'll definitely come back for longer so we can experience all the local places that were shut while we were there because of the current situation. Gill was very helpful and always quick to reply if we had any questions. Looking forward to returning soon!”
'A little slice of heaven at Heavenly Heavitree! A sweet two bedroomed cottage with a sitting room and kitchen that was the original coach house in the garden of a Georgian Wing where I live. Cosy and well decorated with original features and use of the garden. Garden is dog proof if you wish to bring your well behaved, well socialised dog that is happy to share the garden with my family and collie.
“A lovely cosy, warm and quiet cottage a short walk from the town. Katie went the extra mile to ensure we arrived safely and had a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfy. All in all a great base from which to explore Barnstaple and the surrounding area on foot, by bike, public transport or car.”
