“Such a great place! My boyfriend and I stayed here for over a week, and it was so calm and cozy. The views of Lake Champlain are beautiful, and it has all the amenities you need plus more for a very comfortable stay. We loved this relaxing spot, and William was always available to help out with anything we needed.”
Camping site on lake Champlain. Site includes a Tiny House for sleeping with a small building with toilet and sink and lake water. We have a futon for sleeping, however we do not supply the bedding. This is a large private lot with full access to Lake Champlain and is also located on the Vermont bike route.
“This place is a great little get away! It is right on the water and has beautiful sunsets! We were greeted with a beautiful flower arrangement on the front porch and a paper listing everything going on in the area. There are also brochures for various activities in the local area as well as playing cards and tic tac toe. There are a couple picnic tables and some chairs to sit on the deck and take in the amazing view. There is a bathroom with a flush toilet and running water set a bit back from the cabin. Top everything off with a rip roaring fire at night and this place is the perfect mixture of roughing it and a home away from home! Cindy and her husband were very welcoming and sweet. They stopped by to check in on us the first and second night and we talked for quite a bit! They are very kind and understanding. For things to do....St. Albans is a cute little town about 15 minutes away - we recommend Mimmo’s if you like Italian. Burlington is about 30 minutes away and has a bunch of great breweries/distilleries/cideries. This place is far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close to the necessities if you need to make a pit stop!”
Our spacious cottage is on beautiful Lake Champlain with west facing views. Enjoy lounging in the hammocks, playing in the expansive backyard, fishing from the canoe or read a book inside the screened in porch. Be active and explore the area or relax in the privacy that Samson Point is known for.
“If you are looking for a great place to stay in a perfect location make sure you give this place a shot. Chris is a great host and was very helpful with things to do around the area. The cottage is clean and very spacious and was a lot bigger than we expected, The bed we slept on was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for all you need to prepare a meal. We also loved the firepit by the water which was a great end to our day, Grocery shopping was also only a ten minute drive to town. This was our first trip to Vermont for fall foliage which was spectacular anywhere we went. We visited Stowe, Burlington, Winooski, Montpelier, Waterbury, St. Albans, Swanton, Malletts Bay, Colchester and Cambridge to name a few. We also took a Gondola ride to the top of Mt. Mansfield which was breathtaking to see all of color of the trees and is a must do if coming to Vermont to see fall foliage. Thank you to Chris for providing us with a perfect first trip to Vermont!!”
