This 1890 brick 2 story farm house, sits back off the street with lots of full trees, large front and back fenced yard for dogs and kids to play. Wrap around porch and back deck for entertaining. Covered Jacuzzi to relax after a long day hiking at the lake. Two bedrooms upstairs with full bath. Daybed and trundle in treadmill room. Coffee room to watch the birds. Handrails going upstairs as in bathrooms. On a main street leading to downtown Historic Paola Ks.

Everything was there to make it feel just like home. The bedroom is very spacious and the bathroom is exceptionally clean and modern. I was there for five days and especially liked having access to the kitchen, grill and washer and dryer. When you’re there for several days having these amenities is a huge plus. The value here is outstanding and Sam was a wonderful host who made sure that my stay was enjoyable and comfortable. I highly recommend Sam’s home to anyone traveling to or through the Kansas City area.”
We are located in beautiful rural Miami county, about 40 miles south of downtown Kansas City or 20 miles south of Overland Park. Easy access to our farm, just off of 69 Hwy. Quiet, scenic setting with rolling hills, tress, and pastoral views.

Our room was sparkling clean, the bed was super comfortable and my daughter and I got to get to see chickens and a peacock while we got to pet a few friendly dogs, goats and one cuddly barn cat. Also, the bed is very tall and my 6 year old was worried she would roll off it in her sleep, but there was very thoughtfully several extra quilts provided so we made her a pallet on the floor and problem solved! We would definitely stay here again and next time have more time to relax and bring a picnic!!”
