Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hiroshima

The owner was kind enough to talk about the facilities in the house, a big house, it was well equipped and clean, and the amenities were thoughtful. I would stay again if I would come back to this place.

It was a house with a sense of history, and the interior was decorated with lots of art and crafts, and it was like a museum. The air conditioning, lighting, and water were up-to-date, and there was no inconvenience during my stay.I wrote so far, but the refrigerator and washing machine were outside (in the garden), so it was a little cold at night.

We absolutely loved our stay with Dai, he was so lovely and helpful from even before we had arrived. The house was homely and very well cared for with everything you could think of! This was such a great place - all the neighbours were so kind. 10/10 from us! The house is about a 10 min walk from Hiroshima station and 20 min walk from busier districts. Dai did a wonderful job we felt right at home.

We enjoyed our stay in the large house of Yumi with the beautiful garden. The house is very nicely decorated and very well equipped. The area is very quiet, untouristy and typically Japanese, which we appreciate very much. We stayed in two very good restaurants (Goro and a Chinese one) near the house. We highly recommend the house!

I used it for 3 adults and 3 dogs.I had a comfortable stay in a spacious and very nice room.The view is also great, and I was able to see the torii gate of Miyajima from the window.I'd love to stay here next time I visit Hiroshima.Thank you very much.

We (unfortunately) had only a very brief stay in Hiroshima but enjoyed the house very much. There are quite a few restaurants and shops within a 10 minute walking radius.

It is impossible to put in 1000 characters how nice was the whole experience. We were looking for a traditional tatami style house on our Japan voyage and this one has exceeded our expectations. The most welcoming host that greet us with green tea and maple leaf mini cake. We were shown around the property and explained how everything works. The place is beautiful, peaceful, squeaky clean and it got some historic items on the display. The best 2 moments was sitting in the evening on the edge of our bedroom overlooking little garden while drinking sake and eating local snacks. 2nd was morning coffee still in bed looking at the same garden in a daylight. It’s a shame we only had 1 night at Hiroshima in our fully packed Japan itinerary but we definitely will be back in the future. ❤️

Our family of 5 had a great stay at Manami's place. All there as advertised, close to train station but quiet street. Manami was an excellent communicator. A positive experience all round.

Spacious and comfy! We loved the tatami lounge with poofs to relax on. Very conveniently located and close to a tattoo friendly hot spring. We were also saved by the umbrellas that are there for guests to use. Great value for money!

The surrounding restaurants, bars, and shopping were the best, and the building is old, but the room is beautifully decorated, so it's very comfortable. I was able to spend time. I want to stay again when I go to Hiroshima. Thank you very much.

This was literally in the best location to everything you need. Walking distance to streetcar, big shopping, restaurants and peace memorial park. We would defiantly stay here again! The space was bigger than expecting and bigger than most places in downtown area.

Clean, functional and spacious accommodation in the heart of Hiroshima. The location is excellent, close to everything on foot and with a place to have breakfast in the very delicious corner. The apartment was very clean, and with a washing machine, which is very good when traveling around Japan. They were friendly to us. I would go back without hesitation

-The location is only 900 meters from Yokogawa station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Also around is very close the peace memorial park, genbaku-dome, Shukkien garden, the stadium of the team Sanfreece Hiroshima. -Located 1.2km from Hiroshima Bus Center, very convenient to walk to many places around the city, in addition to being very close to Lawson. -Located in direction near Miyajima island (30min by JR Sanyo towards Iwakuni direction). -If I have a chance to visit Hiroshima again, I will definitely think of this apartment first.

Since it's been remodeled for a while, the house was clean and the bathtub was as clean as new. It was a modern building, so the elevator and security were good, and it was conveniently accessible with a button-style password, not a physical key. It's a little far from Hiroshima Station, but Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park was nearby, and there were many restaurants past the park. In particular, the famous Yokonomiyaki restaurant in Hiroshima is located right after the park, so I had a good meal. The main tourist attractions are 5 minutes away from the accommodation, so it was not uncomfortable to travel. One inconvenience was that the towels were only prepared for one day, so it was a hassle to wash and use them every day. Other than that, we had a comfortable stay for 4 days.

Outstanding location, comfortable bed, clean and private… perfect place for exploring Hiroshima. Did I mention the location? Fantastic! Thank you!

great apartment, really high end and very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and just the sort of place you want to spend time in while travelling around. 20 min walk to sea temple ferry and atomic dome/ park / museum. good bakeries nearby and tram / bus stop 5 mins away. the location on a main road, and traffic noise, won't be to everyone's liking, but this is a lovely place to stay.

It was used by six family members. After sightseeing in Miyajima, I entered the city and stayed here.It was a rental car, but there was a coin parking lot right next door, so it was very convenient to grab and drop off luggage for children.Non-contact check-in was also smooth. The room was spacious and the bed was clean and nice. The next day, we went to the Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome, which was very close and convenient.

Instructions were easy to follow and the place was very clean! Highly recommend for groups!

Great location! Awesome place for a group

A great little apartment in Hiroshima a short 10 minute walk to the Peace park and museum. The apartment is spacious and super clean. The only thing to note is if you have people going to bed at different times all the beds and living space are together so that could be tricky.

Definitely recommend River Villas! Nice, clean, and fairly close to main shopping areas!

We had some trouble finding the apartment initially, having been dropped off around the corner. The host responded quickly to my questions and helped put us right. We also had some other minor trouble that the host addressed promptly and thoughtfully. The apartment had everything we needed, even a photocopier for our ID documents, and was spotless and comfortable. We will stay again if we return to Hiroshima in the future!
