Bungalow vacation rentals in Hispaniola

Birgit's beach house at playa bonita was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon! Its location on the beach and proximity to a number of restaurants made getting around easy. You won't want to leave the area but if you do Birgit is very friendly and helpful with a number of fantastic recommendations. We can't wait to come back!

Exceeded our expectations! The view from the patio can't be beat. We were also pleasantly surprised by the pools. We appreciated the flexibility to cook simple meals at home rather than eating AI food. The walk to town when we did want to eat out was beautiful and not far. We enjoyed popping in almost daily to pick up fresh croissants and baguettes (along with fresh fruit and veg and nice cheeses!) A very relaxing week for our family of 5!

Excelente casa con todas las comodidades necesarias, muy limpio toso, muy cerca de la playa y con una piscina increíble. La atención de Roger es excelente. Y vale la pena ir a esa casa ya que es fantástica.

This is such a beautiful Villa! The view is absolutely breath taking!!! The space is also very big! Keep in mind that Dominican Republic is still very rural so getting to this place requires a good car! I would suggest someone who knows how to drive a steep hill be the one driving to this Villa. Cabrera has a lot of steep hills/mountains so be prepared. The best part is that this Villa is located within minutes to all the major beaches and attractions, for example: playa diamanté, playa Caleton, playa arroyo Salgado, Laguna du du, el saltadero, etc. The pictures here are accurate to what you will find inside the Villa. There are three bedrooms and all have air conditioning. The pool guy is also very diligent and sweet! My family and J enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to go back!

The casita was simple and wonderful. Close access to the beach and Daniel was nearby and always willing to help!

Un weekend maginifique passe au Paradis !!!! Very nice and cozy bungalow. We had chosen the 3 meals option and received an amazing service from Lucsene/Jeannot/Nicole, always punctual and helpful. The kayak available was very useful. It wasnt the first time i had come to Kadras, but staying at this bungalow was a whole different experience. The shinning sea, white sand and turquoise water makes it a perfect getaway.

De loin la meilleure expérience Airbnb que j’ai eu depuis longtemps, Didier est vraiment un gars super, il va vous amener partout et vous donner les meilleures références de la région, il connaît vraiment bien le pays, c’est un français qui vit à Las Galeras depuis 20 ans. J’étais supposé rester chez lui une semaine seulement mais au final j’étais tellement bien et dépaysé que je suis resté deux semaines. Aussi une mention spéciale pour les deux meilleurs chien de Las Galeras, Junior et Whisky 🐶🐶 !! Je recommande fortement de réserver avec Didier pour expérience authentique et hors des sentiers battus 🙏

Very Nice Getaway Place. To treat your self with peace and disconnect from the rest of the world. I will recommend it to everyone that is looking to do something different from what you usually do every time you travel. Just follow the instructions recommended you wont regret the experience here.

A great place to stay in Las Terrenas with private space and peaceful surrounding.

Nuestra estadía en este lugar es como si estuviéramos en casa, la comunicación muy buena en cuanto le solicitábamos fuimos atendidos lo recomiendo, una única observación deben considerar ofrecer plancha y microondas.

Loved our stay! My wife thought the place was like a millionaire mansion. I recommend staying here over a resort. The place was great the neighborhood was great, security, very safe for American travelers.

Finished up as month long stay at Don's Dominican style bungalow and I've gotta say it was everything I signed up for. I felt like the description was spot. A place away from all the activity in Las Terrenas, nestled up high and surrounded by serenity. It's a place that's definitely meant for the more adventurous. It's a bit more exposed to the elements than your typical airbnb but that's what also makes it such a unique experience. If you're afraid of critters it probably won't be a spot you'll enjoy as one does see the occasional frog, lizard or insect, especially at night. The space is cleaned weekly, there's strong Internet and I didn't experience power outages for very often or for very long. The views are amazing and I loved soaking in the pool in the evenings. The outdoor gym and hill that one has to climb were great to get my workouts done on site. Jean Claude who works there is great and was also a huge help. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Gabriela’s place is wonderful. The view is even better than in the photos. Unforgettable sunsets and peaceful mornings with birds. The bungalow itself was spotlessly clean. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, gladly giving tips and assisting with booking a tour. I highly recommend staying at Gabriela’s place. It was a unique experience.

The place was lovely, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of the communication and service. we had to message to ask for extra toilet roll a few times (we were only provided with one) and the fixed soap dispenser or complimentary beers were not provided after requesting.
