“Larry's space was amazing! There were tons of great little touches throughout the place ranging from a coffee bar and snacks to some of the softest towels I've ever used in my life. The back porch was amazing for nature watching and the stars at night were delightful. Overall 10/10 great experience would recommend to anybody”

“We loved the rustic charm of this little cabin and the surrounding beauty of nature. As soon as we pulled up, we got a warm greeting from Marilyn's dog, Flicka, who became a dear companion whenever we went for a walk. The scenery is spectacular and it was a great stopping place to visit Yosemite. Beware that the WiFi connection is a bit iffy and there is no TV, but it was nice to be off the grid a bit. The bed was comfortable, though a bit on the firm side and the kitchen was easy to cook in. The refrigerator is small, so don't bring a lot of perishables. We didn't take the time to burn any wood in the stove, but the heater works well to warm the whole place. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and hope to come up again in the future.”

“Carmel and Richard’s place is everything you could ever imagine and then some. The cabin is new and has all of the amenities. It’s amazingly clean, stylish, comfortable, and pristine all at once. We are a family of four (kids ages 12 and 7), and stayed for a week and visited Mariposa as well as Yosemite every day (just a quick approx. 1-hour beautiful river drive from the cabin to the Yosemite gate). Carmel and Richard are the most gracious hosts and ensured we had absolutely everything we needed to make ourselves feel at home. They thought of everything, directions, reviews of local eateries and things to do, a collection of CDs to enjoy, a flashlight if needed, kids’ books, magazines, beautiful dining sets, all kitchen appliances and utensils provided, and much, much more. You will be conveniently located to enjoy downtown Mariposa but far enough away to have deer visiting you by the kitchen windows in the morning. We recommend Carmel and Richard’s place without hesitation and would love to stay here again next time we venture into the Sierras.”
