Nearby are the castle park Rauischholzhausen and the historic university city of Marburg (12 km) with sights around St. Elisabeth. Car is recommended for maximum flexibility. A charging station for electric cars (11kW) is available and can be used on request (for a fee).

Ideal for hiking, running, cycling and for many other outdoor activities, it is located in a quiet residential area on the edge of Medebach. The city center and shopping are a 10-minute walk. The two larger ski resorts in Winterberg and Willingen can be reached by car within 15 to 20 minutes.
