This cosy, spacious apartment forms part of The Old Butchers - a large property home to an arts and crafts studio. We are located in the heart of Uffculme, a pretty village with two pubs, a café, fish and chips bar and two local shops. The area is great for dog walking, hiking, fishing and cycling with the river Culm close by. Uffculme is close to junction 27 and mid distance between Exeter and Taunton with a nearby rail link at Tiverton Parkway.
“The flat is a beautiful well thought out space cosy and comforting, as in the way it's furnished. It is a good size and has everything you need for a nice relaxing stay. Lisa kindly supplied some food basics which is a very thoughtful and much appreciated touch. Lisa is a fantastic host very friendly and welcoming and its such a treat to be able to look at all the lovely art work as you pass through the studio. I'd highly recommend this place for a little get away or if you are needing to stop by the area. Local shop just a minute walk, cafe and chip shop also pub. So a great little location. I hope to be back again one day soon.”

“We Loved our long weekend stay at Beverleys accomodation. Location is quiet with beautiful views but not far from all major routes so it was easy to find. Beverley was so helpful with tips on local places to eat & local walks. Animals on the farm are very friendly, especially the cats. Hot tub was a real treat. Comfy bed & everything you could need in accomodation. Would thoroughly recommend staying here”
The hut is set in its own little garden with fruit trees, a picnic table and access to barbecue, sun loungers and a hammock (in the summer, anyway). The loo is in the little blue hut, along with basic washing facilities, but you are welcome to use the shower and toilet in our house. There is a small wood burning stove, a double bed and sofa/seating area in the hut. Tea/coffee and various condiments are available and obviously if you need anything else, just ask. Wifi is okay.
“Absolutely lovely place just right for those so busy that they need some time out. Definitely will be back. We had an amazing time. The couple are fantastic hosts - on the day of arrival the fire had broken slightly and they went to the trouble of getting a heater in the cabin. The next day the fire was fixed and already burning for us. Thank you so much for a wonderful break away.”
