Monthly Rentals in Holgate

My husband and I stayed at Michael's flat for a month and absolutely loved it! The flat is exactly as shown in the photos, there is a key box - so no hassle checking in and out. It is spacious and has everything you need (kitchen appliances and utensils, an iron, etc.), even for a long stay like ours. It also has a very easy-to-use thermostat and great heating. There is also a "built-in" phone charger in the bedroom, which is perfect if you forget to bring EU/UK adapters (like we did :)). Michael was also exceptionally accommodating when we asked for the mailbox key - we were expecting some correspondence - and delivered the key to us in no time. Some notes: The flat and the neighborhood are very quiet and residential, however, probably due to the building's structure, you can hear the neighbors upstairs walking. It did not bother us much but may be important to some. Also, the area around the flat is currently undergoing renovations, so pedestrian access has been ever-changing.

we had a great time. the house was great. it had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. we walked to York one day and and got the bus next (very easy). the space is homely. bed was very comfortable. if we were in York again we would love stay again if possible.

Gary’s place was great. Very spacious and stunning views across the road to the park. The apartment is huge and very comfortable- great to have off street parking too. It is a great location to access York - you can catch a bus but it is a very easy walk - around 20 minutes. Gary is a very responsive host and contacts you independently. The eggs and bread were much appreciated. Enjoyed our stay.

A lovely couple of days in York. The house matches the description perfectly. Great little place to stay, about a 25 minute walk into the city centre along the river. The house is very clean, has comfy beds and the hosts have added extra touches that show that they really care and want you to enjoy your stay. Brilliant communication from Steve and Sarah. Thank you.
