The house is quite basic yet still provides everything one might need. We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time at the cottage :)

The cabin in the woods is incredible. It has everything you could need. The hot tub and BBQ are an added bonus. We (and especially our dog) really enjoyed our stay. Would 100% recommend.

Very friendly welcome and communication before and during our stay went smoothly. A beautiful house, lovely (made!) beds, good clean sauna, nice hot tub and cozy kitchen. Everything available for a wonderful stay. View from the house and the garden is wide and beautiful. Unexpectedly beautiful surroundings. In short; completely satisfied!

Lovely cottage, nice heater inside and wonderful beds. Jaccuzi was already ready to use, really a nice place to unwind.

Martha's place is perfect for everyone who enjoys country side. It's a perfect mix of natural beauty and modern amenities. Apart from the place and amenities, Martha is very nice and welcoming person. Even though we arrived by the night, she stayed up to welcome and show us the place. On the next day, we could see her cattle and horses together with her. It was nice and refreshing experience. We would love to stay at her place again :)

We were 3rd for the first time together with a dog in the Netherlands. The house with garden is just like in the pictures very nice, clean and due to the orientation away from the street you don't get anything. Also, the area is extremely quiet which was perfect for a relaxing vacation. The beach is a few minutes' walk away. Alkmaar is 30 km away and ideal for a trip. Willeke also responded directly to my inquiries and called easily on the day of arrival, which helped us a lot. It was a perfect break for us and we will be happy to come back.

Really enjoyed staying at this tiny place for a few days. Beautiful garden and backyard, kitchen equipped with everything necessary. Perfect for two - would be a squeeze with four. Felt private because hosts were away, otherwise shared deck and yard. Would come again!

Accommodation (cottage) remarkable for its quiet location and its authentic decoration and with great taste, a (real) Dutch country house! Beautiful view from the kitchen / dining room over the countryside, in the gardens of many birds. Carina is a very efficient and discreet person. We would recommend this lovely house very warmly, we had a great week there. Good option also to visit the country, nothing is really far away. In addition the small historic town of Hoorn is charming, and there are 3 supermarkets and many shops, bars, restaurants just 12 Km away. We'll be back as soon as we can… Didier & Yency

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

We spent a particularly nice weekend here. By car at 5' to Castricum aan Zee, with a beautiful beach and nice beach bars. Also close to Egmond and Alkmaar, definitely worth a visit. From the garden you can walk into the protected area, with hiking trails. Great, and therefore recommended 👍

Just like the first time: Very nice hosts. Great and quiet location! The view from the living room - fantastically beautiful! The interior is very nice and cozy! Perfect as a starting point for excursions in the area! To the beach through the dune landscape about 2-3 km. A very nice supermarket is 1 km away. very nice apartment, arranged in a way to take advantage of all the spaces. The veranda outside was super relaxing, just as shown in the photo. The bathroom is not too large, but still comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. The only thing is the private parking that was not possible to use, because we always found it occupied: - (.

We often look for Airbnb options during most of our vacations because our adorable senior dog likes traveling the world with us. Without exaggerating I can say Jody's place figures right on top of the list of our best Airbnb experiences. The house is well equipped and exactly as described on the listing and pictures, but it's the personal touch that made it extra special. She even thought of the tiniest details to make our stay more comfortable - everything from the thoughtful breakfast basket to the beautiful bouquet of tulips that greeted us when we got there, it was perfect in every way. We had a wonderful night! They were super hospitable the location was quiet, beautiful Kota and a nice sauna, very clean and a nice breakfast! Certainly subject to repetition!

Steven has a beautiful place, with a small pond facing the cabin. It has all the mentioned amenities. Excellent if you need a peaceful stay, that is still within an hour to the Amsterdam area. If coming via car, parking was right in front of the cabin. Steven was proactive with providing check-in instructions as well.

Wonderfully quiet and cozy cottage. Wonderful, unobstructed views. cozy and spacious. you will be personally welcomed and given tips. If you like peace and nature, this is highly recommended. 10 minutes from the sea, dunes and villages.

Absolutely recommended! Very nice house with everything you need and beautiful furnishings with attention to detail. The highlight is the bathtub with total privacy. Perfect for a nice getaway for two. Many nearby destinations - whether to the beach or to various cities such as Harlem, Zaandam or Alkmaar. An all-round successful overall package.

Lovely chalet! Clean and warm, good plumbing, nice hot water at the shower! Perfect for 2 adults and 3 children. The kids loved the bedstee! Not much to do at the park but to spend the night really very good and close to Alkmaar, Bergen etc. Steven is a friendly host. This chalet is a good place to stay!

We were very very pleased with the tasteful tiny house. The amenities are comfortable, the location nice and the hosts are very courteous. Fast communication, great check in. We will be happy to come back
