Liane is a wonderful hostess! We had a super nice stay: very nice and spacious B&O, very cozy and well furnished, really everything is present, pleasant and quiet area, easily accessible, ideal with parking in front of the motorbike, bicycles that we were allowed to use to eat in the evening, extensive and well-kept breakfast, lots of good tips for restaurants nearby, very helpful, to every question both in advance and during our stay we received a very quick answer, in short: highly recommended!

The location between the North Sea and Ijsselmeer influenced our decision and that was also good. The Burghorn Recreation Park is a grown place and has an ambience. The chalet is tastefully and practically furnished and there are additional equipment for different projects (actually someone lives there and has their own needs). It was just nice and uncomplicated. When an unforeseen temperature drop came, there was no problem. The necessary equipment was on site. Our dog felt comfortable. Communication was proactive or better forward-looking. Thank you!

This location offers exceptional privacy and tranquility. The hospitality is outstanding (10/10), and the premises are impeccably clean. We particularly appreciated the fresh, fragrant towels and the bathtub. The pool also appeared inviting, although the wind and cold prevented us from using it. We highly recommend this establishment.

Space with a nice vibe, clearly decorated with love. This was a 2 month rent for an aunt of mine, who had to leave her flat for a renovation. Ron was super welcoming, helpful, and with an angel patience for everything my aunt needed. Thank you so much, Ron!

A really nice, well-kept and spacious house with a large property which is completely surrounded by a hedge and fence in it, so you are undisturbed and the dog can run freely. In addition, there is a large, lockable shed on the property in which bicycles can be stored, among other things. We felt very comfortable and were able to recover super!

Barry is a very friendly, easily accessible host who cares. Communication was top notch. The house is as described in the photos and text. Perhaps it should be mentioned that the stairs to the bedrooms upstairs are very steep and narrow. For us and our (big) children, this was not a problem, but with young children this could be an issue. We were very pleased with the mosquito nets and the blinds to darken in the bedrooms. The beds are comfortable. It's very quiet on the lake, even when many cottages are inhabited - a relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. The use of the TV was only a mystery to us, but after a demand from Barry everything worked well. The SUPs and boats are a highlight - our kids loved it. Water lilies and the daily visit of ducks and chickens are included. Shopping is nearby, and Barry gives good tips for things to do and getaways. Great vacation overall.

Annemarie is super friendly & quick to reach. The place looks exactly like the pictures and has everything you need. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The surroundings are super quiet, there are beautiful walks and in Schagen you can also enjoy strolling and eating on site. From the property, you can also reach the beach in 15 minutes by car. Therefore, the accommodation offers the perfect place to unplug or experience more in the vicinity. We will be happy to come back :)

What a wonderful stay we had in this very nice cottage. Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful decor and nice wan the water. Everything was present and clean. The beds (and linens) were fantastic. We had very nice days and will definitely be back.

We spent 3 nights in the cottage and had a very good time. The space was suitable for 5 people, 3 of whom loved sleeping together in the mezzanine. The kitchen is basic but equipped with all the equipment that can be used for a short vacation, including a washing machine. The cleanliness of the house is excellent. The place is quiet but convenient to drive to P+R parking in the suburbs of Amsterdam or to visit the surrounding villages. Beautiful window and garden flooded with sun before sunset

The cottage is very cozy and we felt very comfortable there. It is located in a beautiful environment with many nice walks with the dog. We could fish right outside the front door and the kids were at the large pool or football field in a few minutes by foot. For excursions to Amszerdam or Alkmaar, you can reach the train station in Anna Paulowna in 10 minutes by car, from where a train runs every 30 minutes. In Anna Paulowna there are also supermarkets, a beautiful 'Eetcafe' and a very nice zoo. In about 15 minutes you can also reach Callantsog directly on the beach, where you can also rent bicycles cheaply. It was a great urlab and I'm sure we'll be back.

We were there as a family and we enjoyed it very much. The house was great and had plenty of space, as well as a great garden. It was very quiet and the beach was right across the street. The city was also within walking distance. And thank you so much for the great recommendations!

Very nice little house in good weather. Hot tub much appreciated. The pool was not open yet. Be careful, the staircase to the night area is very steep. The 2nd bedroom is in a row with the dorm.
