Perfect location for a peaceful stay on the Big Island! Jenne's place was spotless and she has thought of everything to ensure you have great stay at her house! Beach chairs, snorkel gear, cribbage board, you name it...it was there:) we will be back!

Wonderful location, private with beautiful grounds. Loved watching the wildlife in the mornings. Kitchen was well stocked, had a bit of trouble with the stove, but finally figured it out. Everything looked exactly like the photos, so no surprises. Would definitely recommend, especially as the host was very helpful and responsive.

Great stay! Best host I’ve ever had in all my stays with Airbnb. Responsive, communicative. Went out of his way to make sure we had all we needed; for example, purchased a brand new high chair so we wouldn’t need to pack one. Really nice home. Pool was great.

Absolutely stunning home…great location and furnished with pretty much anything you could ever need. Between the hammock, ping pong table, tree house, and beach toys, it’s hard to imagine that any place could possibly be more kid-friendly. Hosts were responsive and extremely accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again, and highly recommend this property.

Our family loved the house. There was plenty of space for everyone and the set up was perfect for our needs. We especially loved sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings, and falling asleep to the sound of the tree frogs. The location was a further from the ocean than we realized, but we enjoyed the lushness of the hilly terrain and would stay there again. Susan and Iris were very responsive when we reported a few minor appliance issues and it didn't impact our overall experience.

We loved every minute at Nicki's place. She met us at the door for a really helpful welcome tour and was always very quick to respond to inquiries about things to do in Kona and beyond. The beds were super comfy and the house was airy with tons of big windows and doors with screens, so it was a lovely place to relax. The pool is way bigger than we expected - perfect for laps after sitting in the sauna. The water temp was pretty cold, though, as it's not heated and it had been cloudy for a while, so the kids didn't really use the pool. But they kept busy by picking fruit from the many trees surrounding the house. Oh and the view, of course - amazing! Very close to the house is Mountain Thunder Coffee, which offers free tours of their facility so you can see why Kona coffee is so unique - a big hit for kids and adults alike. We can't recommend Nicki's place more highly - would have loved to stay longer!

Have stayed here several times in different units. It works well for us. If you find older reviews complaining about the water pump being loud its no longer an issue. It was updated recently.

Ragnhild’s place was the perfect spot for our Hawaiian adventure. It was clean, roomy and supplied well for our group of four adults and two elementary aged boys. The kitchen/dining area was very roomy and had just the right utensils we needed. The bedrooms were also roomy with lots of closet space. The washer and dryer were handy to have available with children. Two of the bedrooms had access to the wonderful, large balcony which included a swing and table. A great place to hang out during the day. The views of the ocean were stunning from the balcony! There are restaurants within walking distance along with shopping. Ragnhild is very hospitable and will answer your questions very quickly. Her home is lovely and a great place to stay.

Really loved our stay. We made great use of the beach and snorkle equipment provided. Loved being close by so many beaches includng Honaunau. Place was clean, wifi was fast, and was especially nice to have a washer and dryer.

Spacious and well stocked Airbnb. Really nice touches with a few snacks and drinks provided and plenty of towels and kitchen amenities. The place is a bit dated but clean and the main bed was very comfortable. The pullout sofa in the living room is extremely uncomfortable if you’re planning to have anyone sleep there. I didn’t reach out to the host about it so maybe they could have provided a foam topper or something else for it. If you’re looking to have anyone sleep adults sleep out there I would check with the host to see if they can provide something to make it more comfortable since it was harder than a futon to sleep on. Overall good value for the price and convenient location.

Great and convenient space with a beautiful yard full of nature and incredible animals to see. Nathan was so communicative and helpful the entire time :)

It was a pleasant surprise that we found instant noodles, rice and rice cooker, electric cooktop when we get in. There were 4 cans of beers and some canned food. This served us very well in the evening since we had a heavy lunch and did not want to go out to eat in a restaurant. The room is well equipped with all necessities. We enjoyed a very good stay. 没想到，这里有电饭锅和大米， 还有方便面和罐头午餐肉。太好了！想得太周到了！

It was a lovely 3 day stay at Joyce and Zac’s place. Their room is cozy and lovely. The hose is very considerate to make you feel like home. Basically in the room you got everything you need. Highly recommend if you want to stay a few days in Kona.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

Caryl was very nice and helpful. Plenty of suggestions for places to visit, beaches to go to and places to eat. We had a wonderful stay.

We stayed a few days at a resort before staying at Terry’s, and we lived Terrys place so much more! We felt like we were experiencing the “real” Big Island and culture! We want to gone back!

What a perfect place to stay. Beautiful view and awesome accommodations. Quiet and peaceful. Easy to get to everywhere. Chad was great! Super helpful and attentive. Very comfortable place to stay with everything you could want. Would highly recommend to everyone.

This is our 4th stay at Kona Bali Kai and this unit is our absolute favorite! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and even a spice rack. Both bathrooms were clean and nice AND stocked with shampoo and conditioner! The bedrooms were very comfortable and the lanai had table and chairs and comfy chaise lounges. And there were 4 beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, cooler and snorkel gear!! Made our vacation even more enjoyable. Holly was easy to get ahold of. We HIGHLY recommend this unit and will definitely stay there next year!

The accommodation was just like the picture. The clean and well-organized accommodation made our vacation start in a good mood. We were very comfortable during our stay, equipped with bathrooms and kitchen supplies, and we also used the rice cooker very well. It had two bathrooms, so it was good for our family to wash up after swimming in the sea. The bed was big and clean, but it was so fluffy for us that our backs hurt a little. It was also very convenient with 2 large boogie boards, a beach chair, parasol, flippers and other beach supplies. When we asked if we had any questions, the host answered us almost right away, so we were grateful. The pool and the Jacuzzi that starts late in the afternoon also made our vacation better. You can walk the Magic Sand and it takes only 10 minutes to get to Kona downtown. We are willing to stay again if you come to Kona again next time. I recommend this accommodation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was outstanding and great to see surfers every morning and afternoon. The condo itself was very comfortable and would stay here again.

The unit was very clean and well maintained. It has a beautiful view of the ocean but light sleepers be aware that you can hear the waves. Great location with lots of restaurants nearby. Has convenient and free parking. The unit has been updated but the complex is a bit older

A great place to stay!! Beautiful location, and quiet. the only downside was there was very little space to set toiletries, suitcases, etc. It was still very well worth the stay, though, and we really enjoyed it!

What a great find!!! Marco’s condo is everything as advertised & more! Beautiful view, quiet, clean, great new appliances. Location is easily walkable to all of Ali’i Drive. We ate breakfast on the lanai every morning, watching the paddlers, parasailers, and surfers. Complex has a fantastic pool & hot tub that are immaculately maintained. We miss it already!
