Beautifully located in a rural place with spacious terrace and garden. The nature reserve 't Roegwold and the Fraeylemaborg are within walking distance. Supermarket 1.5 km. Schildmeer is 7 km away. The city of Groningen is easily accessible.

In the cottage, you live a basic life, close to nature in a beautiful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly planted food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking duck, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

The cozy living room with rustic style has a 2 x 2 person sofa and dining room table for 4 people. The living room has a wood-burning stove that can be used (wood bags available for €6.00 each). This neighborhood is known as Het Gouden Eiland, a villa neighborhood with houses built in the period 1910-1930. Het Gouden Eiland is in a quiet leafy neighborhood with tall oak trees and wide streets. The apartment has a private entrance, patio with seating, kitchen, shower with toilet, king-size bed (2x 90/210) and is luxuriously finished.

Our small chalet lies in the middle of the most beautifull nature of the Netherlands: the National Park of the Drentsche Aa and the Unesco Geopark of the Hondsrug, on a very quiet camping. It is furnished light and harmonious. The house is suitable for couples and singles, not for children. Overnight stay with 2 persons maximum. No pets. Non smoking (except on the terrace). Spend the night in a salon car between the horses.

This cozy saloon car is in the yard between the horses, chickens and geese. Enjoy the simplicity of this nice place with a fireplace, your own kitchen, box bed and 'outdoor' shower and toilet (see photos). The car can be heated by a pellet stove and equipped with all comforts for a restful stay. A made bed, clean towels, kitchen linen and final cleaning are included in the price.
