The place was amazing, very clean, looked like the photos, and overall felt right at home

The house was exactly as listed - a charming home right on the lake. The hosts were proactive in offering support (they live next door) but were not intrusive. The home was close enough to have adventures and removed enough to be cozy when we decided to just stay in on a rainy day. Be aware of the reality of a lake house in this area - the final stretch to the house is a gravel shared driveway and there are bugs/gnats due to the water.

The basement apartment was clean, well appointed and very cozy. Highly recommend staying here.

The space had a really nice vibe to it, very and restful. It had a huge amount of space, and the furniture was so very comfortable. Eric was nice enough to let me move the desk into the closet so when I had to work, I wouldn't get disturbed by anyone, it may sound funny but it was the perfect workspace with lots of light and no distractions. I want to do this in my next house where we are moving. Carrie his wife was a wonderful person, social and very creative. But they NEVER intruded into our space, though I wouldn't have minded in the least. If we come back through here we will definately try to book this place.. Wonderful place, wonderful space, and wonderful hosts.
