This little white farmhouse is full of country charm. Originally built in the 1920s, it has just been recently renovated. The inside decor reflects the fact that it sits on the edge of our family farm beside a cotton field. A barn and a pond sit nearby. The house is 2br/2ba and features a living room, a kitchen with essentials, a dining room and a laundry. A small meeting room with tables and chairs that can accommodate around 15-20 people is available. An air mattress and small cot is available upon request to accommodate extra guests. There is a cozy front porch and a back deck with swing and charcoal grill (must bring charcoal, lighter fluid, etc).
“This place was amazing. I dont have 1 negative thing to say. The second you walk in, you feel like you’re at home. Stephanie added a lot of great touches to the house, and set up some tasty southern snacks, and a card waiting for us when we got there, which was very thoughtful. Definitely will be coming back!”

“Absolutely fantastic stay! Esther went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. As cute as the pictures of the cabin are, the place is even better in person. We used this as our base for fishing Lake Guntersville. It was only minutes to lake access. The cabin had everything we needed including plenty of parking for our boat. I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be returning!”
**The cabin is booked until February 2021. ** Cute cabin nestled in the woods located within Whippoorwill Creek Ranch. The ranch has over 150 acres of beautiful scenery, a spring fed creek, and several walking trails. The cabin offers a kitchenette, bathroom, dining area, and living room all on the main floor with a loft bedroom and desk upstairs. The front and back porches are furnished so you can enjoy the natural beauty. Great for a getaway from your everyday!
“I can’t begin to sing enough praises about this little gem in the woods! I’ll highlight some of the best, but there were so many special touches, I’d never be able to touch on them all. I arrived after dark, and the cabin had been decorated and lit with Christmas lights. The light really helped to illuminate my path. The porch was home to a swing and two rockers, so I had my choice of seating when enjoying the stunning view of the grounds. I let myself in according to instructions, and was shocked at the size of the cabin! I could truly live in the space full time. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the massively high ceilings covering the dining area and the kitchen. The bedroom loft overlooked this space and provided an airiness to the room. The entire interior was covered in rough hewn pine, and the smell of the wood gently permeated the cabin. The living room was comfortably decorated, and contained a TV and DVD player to watch the numerous movies my hosts provided on disc. The full sized kitchen had everything I needed to cook and clean up, including a coffee maker with coffee, sugar and sweetener, and creamer. A charcoal grill, briquettes, and lighter fluid (as well as a table and chairs) occupied the back porch. Meals were definitely handled...all I needed was the food. The loft was a little tricky to access, but it was easier when I treated the steep stairs like a ladder and used my hands to climb them. I actually left my suitcase downstairs and only took the next days’ clothes upstairs with me. Hint: Be sure to empty your bladder BEFORE you go to bed so you don’t have to navigate the stairs while sleepy! LOL! The bed had a comfortable memory foam mattress and extra blankets, should I need them (I visited in December). For those visiting in summer, the room contained a separate window A/C unit to cool the loft. The bathroom contained a full sized shower, plenty of soft towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (for both men and women) to get the job done. I had a clog in the toilet while there, and my hosts were very responsive to fix it. The entire cabin was heated with only one heater, but it was enough to keep me toasty warm. The gas fireplace also served to provide additional heat and ambiance. Everywhere I looked there were special touches and decorations one wouldn’t normally find in such a setting. I’m so very glad I chose this little gem in the woods, and I would not hesitate to stay here again.”
