There are about 3 km to the nearest store and eatery. 150 m to the bus stop. Laundry room with laundry and dryer facilities available for a fee. For 2 guests, only 1 bedroom is available.

It is 1000 meters to the sea and lovely beach. The nearest store is located 2,500 metres away. The price is excl. electricity and water consumption. Electricity price: DKK 5 per kWh. Price for water: DKK 90 per m3 The house is fully heated with underfloor heating. No rental to youth groups, where everyone is 15-25 years old.

If you are more into pure relaxation, you can enjoy the peaceful idyll and beautiful nature in Østerby, where our lovely cottage is located less than 100m from a beautiful and undisturbed beach.

The house is centrally located in Asserballeskov close to Fynshav on Als, in rural surroundings, with a short distance to the beach and all the sights on Als. The house has 2 separate rooms, a bedroom with a double bed, and a room with 2 beds (can be put together), and with the possibility of making a bed for 1 person on a sofa bed in the living room, Kitchen and a Toilet with shower. Final cleaning can be arranged, the price will be DKK 350, there is a folder in the house with information about payment.

Marielund: A scenic farmhouse by the beach

Marielund is a danish farmhouse (est. 1907) in a beautiful and isolated spot right by the baltic sea. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

Welcome to our holiday apartment Østerby! Located on the first floor of the main house, the apartment offers stunning views through its large windows on both sides, overlooking the Baltic Sea, the garden, and the surrounding fields. Østerby is a spacious and light-filled living area featuring a large double bed and a fully equipped corner kitchen. The sofa can be extended electrically, providing additional sleeping accommodation.

Every corner of the house exudes old-world charm and takes guests on a journey back in time – a unique combination of historical atmosphere and modern comfort. Since the house is from the 1800s, it has retained its original charm – including a slightly lower ceiling height than modern construction. Guests over 180cm should be aware of this.
